The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It had been quite some time since Nadya left the Nightshade pack to join Frost. The twins had gotten back on a routine and with not just Frost's help but that of the other members, Nadya had actually gotten time to go out and enjoy herself a few times. It was what she had always wanted for them, a stable and safe pack that accepted them. ...Something was missing though...and it made Nadya's heart ache every time she went by the West.
Tonight she figured was as good of a night as any to step back into that steel boat. Frost had signed the contract essentially stating truce towards the Nightshades for her and it had been sitting on their dresser for far too long. Even if Frost disagreed with Nadya going into the heart of the territory he didn't argue about it. Perhaps he knew that the subject would have been a futile one. After all, she had chosen him hadn't she and surely that should be enough for him to trust her to return. Her brother may be many things but he was not the kind of man who would physically harm her or the twins.
Still...as Nadya pulled her BMW to a stop in front of the Ark she couldn't help but wonder if the others would stop her from entering in the first place. Would he have told the employees to ban her? They all knew who she was as she had lived there before. "Well...here goes nothing kiddos." Nadya glanced into the rearview mirror at the twins in their carseats before stepping from the vehicle. Of course she could have come alone but she was unwilling to let go of her family as easily as it seemed for her brother to wave them away.
Thankfully Jackal was the one at the door. "Aren't you a sight for sore eyes." She smiled softly at the man whom was more like pack than just an employee as he had been with the Nightshades for so long and done so much for them. Although Jackal seemed surprised and a little uncertain he didn't shoo her away. Instead he complimented Izzy on her dress and Micah on how big he's gotten with a small warm smile. "I have to talk to my brother. Could you tell him I'll meet him in his office?" Jackal nodded as Nadya walked by into the Ark. "Close your eyes." She instructed holding tight to Izzy's hand on her right and having Micah settled on her left hip they both obediently closed their eyes and put a hand over.
It was the usual scene within, loud shouts and colliding of Weres in the ring. As Nadya made her way towards the stairs she caught sight of the ring most were gathered around. The familiar ebony and spotted coat of her brother and Tobias made her heart clench. She had always hated her brother being in the ring. Nadya quickly shook her head, gathering her focus once more as she hurried the best she could up the stairs and into Aidan's office. "You can open your eyes now." She plopped Izzy and Micah onto the couch. Although it had been a while since the twins had been in the Ark, their Uncle's room was one they remembered as Nadya had found it a safe alternative place to play. "Unca..." Izzy looked around. "Your Uncle Aidan is working right now. He'll be right back." Nadya uneasily pulled the folded piece of paper from her purse and began to pace about the rug in wait as the twins scooted off the couch and toddled around to explore the room.
