West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Henry knew that there were times Sterling was right...but he wasn't sure why this time he didn't want to believe him. Perhaps it was because at the time, Henry had never even heard of a were before, let alone thought that he could turn into one. At the time, weres were nothing but something out of story books. It was so hard for him to believe something that seemed impossible to be true. Perhaps that was where he had fucked up. Maybe he should have just believed Sterling...despite how outrageous it sounded. But that was in the past and there was nothing he could do to change the past.

When she asked if he had any questions, it wasn't that he didn't have any. He had so many questions that he just wasn't sure where to begin asking them. This world he was now a part of was so new and strange and different that he simply did not know where to begin his quest for knowledge. It would come, he was sure. He would eventually figure out where to begin in his quest for knowledge, but right now he was simply overwhelmed. So he asked about Nadya. Her mysterious meeting had not left his thoughts. He couldn't help but wonder by Tet's own blood wasn't around him.

He heard her growl and it was enough to let him know that his instincts were right. Something had happened between Nadya and Tet and that was why she was never spoken of. He listened quietly to what she was saying (or not saying, so the case might be) and decided it was probably best if he didn't bring her up again. But then again, he couldn't help but wonder about her. His curiosity was peaked and he wanted to know what all had happened, but he kept his mouth shut. He could tell when a topic wasn't wanted to be elaborated on.

It was only when she gripped his arm that his gaze shot up to her. He wasn't expecting the sudden assault, but the way that her eyes bore into his made it very clear that she was about to say something that he should probably listen to and take note of. He listened, trying to understand why this Frost fellow was so scary. He had a hard time just taking what she was saying and believing it. He couldn't help it, but he wanted to know why. "She knows who I am..." If Nadya was close to this Frost fellow, then it was bound to get back to Frost that he was Tetradore's. How was he supposed to know to keep that information safe when no one bothered to tell him that she was off limits? He couldn't be expected to follow these rules if he didn't know they existed.

They walked in silence for a moment, Henry already deciding that he would talk to Tet about Nadya. He needed to understand why they were off limits. He could be likened to a toddler â€" if he was told no with no explanation, he would test his boundaries. That's just how he was. He needed to know and understand the why behind it...not just that he was off limits.

After a few steps, Henry slowed his pace and stopped altogether. Tetradore was trying so very hard to teach him to control his animal half, but it was proving difficult. Knowing that Raven had her feral tendencies, he wondered if she had some better advice for him. "How do you control it?" He didn't want to hurt anyone, but he didn't know how to keep himself from damn near killing everything in sight when he turned. At least the first time he had ran, according to Sterling's account of the situation. But the second time, he had been locked in a room with his boyfriend and the feline had fought back. He didn't want to hurt anyone else.
