West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

TRYING NOT TO WASTE MY TIME

"Puppies are a responsibility."

Benjamin can hear his sister's voice echoing through his head as he stares down at the red and white mutt. But he knows responsibility, he knows how to care for someone else. Did he not help take care of his mother when she had been spiraling? And help take care of his younger brother and sisters, a chore that was often demanded of him? So, yes Benjamin knew how to take care of someone.

Though, this was certainly different. After all, it wasn't a human that he would be looking after, it would be a dog. And this would be the first time he would willingly be looking after another and not have them forced upon him. Though, it wasn't like he would have been able to resist her cute little face and that playful nature, even if he had decided that he didn't want to look after her.

Amber eyes look to the girl he has yet to know the name of, but seemed friendly enough, she smiles and nods in response to his question. The puppy did seem to like him. It is with her affirmation then that Benjamin resolves that this puppy will be his. If someone thought it okay to abandon her and leave her behind, well, Benji has no qualms of picking up the pieces and making her his. His. His very own. Being a child of his circumstances, there had never been many things in his life that he had been able to truly call his own. So this little girl would be one of the few.

Her words catch him off guard as she answers his next question. A common human reaction? The young man fixes her with a skeptical look for just a moment, unsure if he heard her right before he simply shrugs it off. Maybe she just meant it in the way that humans were typically uncaring creatures when it came to the lives of animals. I mean, it's not like this girl is some kind of sea monster in disguise.

Oh Benji, so much to learn about the supernatural world.

He returns her furrowed brows with a pair of his own dark, furrowed brows. As confused as she was about shaking his hand, if as confused as he was as to why she doesn't shake it. Initially, he thinks perhaps she is a germ-a-phobe, or maybe she was not a very trustful person and didn't want to shake a strange guy's hand. Either of these Benjamin could understand, he could look past. If she hadn't said anything to him he probably would have shrugged internally and simply lowered his tanned hand.

But she does speak.
And it is neither of the two scenarios above.

"Erm," he responds to her question as he drops his hand. "Nothing," he decides to say, he hadn't a clue how to describe a handshake to someone and he certainly didn't want to practice how to explain it now. She distracts him with her name and he offers her a half crooked smile in an attempt to be friendly, but it quickly fades, returning to status quo of his typical expression of solemness. "No, I don't live here," he responds to her question, casting his amber gaze around. Who the heck would live in this place? Despite having found this innocent little bundle of puppy, it didn't seem particularly friendly here. "I live in River Dale. I go to college near there," he says, not sure how much information he should give a complete stronger. The puppy, sensing attention no longer being on her, jumps against his leg and starts barking. Without even thinking, Benjamin simply reaches down and scoops her up in his arms. She immediately quiets down, but not before planting a smooch on his cheek. He looks back to Malia. "What led you to wandering here? This place isn't exactly..." he pauses, "Inviting."
