The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.
Bartender Raylin Chike
Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

She'd had muffins at the cafe and even a cookie or two but nothing seemed to compare to the all enticing sweetness of the cupcakes Abigail offered up for her birthday. The taste was so rich and satisfying that she felt she could die happy if it happened right that moment. She loved her fruits and meats but there was just something about the taste that reminded her of what heaven must surely be like. She hoped they would make this more of a regular thing, getting cupcakes to eat. She could get used to that. Of course Abigail was just as interested in the Ark. She seemed absolutely fascinated by it, mentioning that it would be amazing to play hide and seek there. Alexis nodded as she licked her fingers, turning to Raven. "Perhaps something to test some day?" She smirked, a playful gleam in her eyes as she giggled. She could picture the large tiger Regan and the others all tearing around the Ark trying to find her. That would definitely be a sight to see. That is, if they'd even agree to play.
Abigail didn't seem to understand how they'd never seen balloons before but when presents were brought up, she started cheering her on and Alexis giggled, turning to the table with all the presents. She took the offered one from Abigail, tearing right into it like a kid on Christmas. Her eyes lit up as the first book gleamed like new in her hands. She gasped in delight and grinned at Abigail. "Oh, I've never read this one. Thank you!" She placed it beside her like it was precious, being gentle before she eagerly reached for another box and started ripping the paper off. Her eyes widened. "Oh, I started this one once in the library but I had to leave before I could get too far. Now I'll get to finish it!" She continued to gently stack her gifts beside her, grinning and worshipping over each and every one. When she finally put aside the last one, she reached out to hug Abigail in thanks, her gaze sweeping to Raven with excitement. "You can help me read some of them, right? There are still some words I don't know." Her gaze practically pleaded.
She missed the reading lessons she used to get with Raven. She had taught her so much. More than that though, she just missed spending time with her first friend in Sacrosanct. Her best friend. She gave Abigail another grin. "This birthday has been the very best, totally a memorable one. I may actually start looking forward to next year." She giggled teasingly.
