West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Don't Believe Thy Majesty, They'll Eat You Alive

So she was looking for something? He had a feeling this beautiful maiden wasn't just here by chance. No, she was looking for someone or something that would catch her eye. This seemed to be her calling card. It wasn't the first time that Braxton had seen someone her type, just not so well distinguished or even stood with such poise and grace. With all the riff raff that wandered these decrepit streets, no wonder Braxton would stand out like a sore thumb. It also didn't help he had a small hideout here in a building that he had to make sure was no frequented. Or checked for that matter. He knew all about the hunters that prowled this side of town. He was no stranger to their tactics, as he had to follow the same routine when he was a soldier in the British Army those many many years ago. His regiment were detailed for stealth and ambushing. So when they were charged to invade small towns, it was done in an inconspicuous manner. They were never fully dressed in Red Coats, and they did their best to hide their accents.

Which wasn't really hard for a good soldier. The best ones could sound like a colonist and get away with it. And when night fell, they made their move. The people never saw it coming. It was a gratifying feeling to get back at those damned people for trying to think they could even rule themselves... The ironic thing here, was they seemed to work out just fine. But Braxton still held some sort of natural hate towards the people of today. And even would go as far as to spit on the grave of a Colonial Soldier that stood up the British. However, this was nor the time or place for such trifling thoughts. There was a pretty young thing that stood in front of his eyes. He took a swift drag of his smoke and exhaled slowly, and smirked at her. He knew he had left her hanging with her question. This wasn't Braxton's first rodeo. His wife was just as coy, and he often ignored her questions.

Albeit annoyed her greatly, and she'd often grumble at him. But not this woman. No, she seemed to enjoy the chase a bit, but to an extent. Being overlooked was not something she was clearly used to. But he would excuse this thought from his head as he cracked a devilish grin and would lick his lips. "Oh... Pardon me madame.. I hadn't the foggiest that you asked me something. I think I was slightly distracted by your very presence." He replied to her as he couldn't tell if she knew he tried to read her. Braxton wasn't too worried, as she didn't seem the type that would lash out, not when there was a prime piece of real estate right in front of her; A stallion among a bunch of scrappy youngins, and he had the experience and age to back it up. But he didn't feel that way towards her. Braxton felt more of a connection that was unspoken between himself and this lovely maiden. Perhaps, that had similar interests? Or maybe she was as devious as he; Sick and twisted and lacking any sort of morales when it came to getting what they wanted.

Braxton flicked the ash from his smoke delicately, and curled his lips at her. "You see m'lady, I have a little hideaway here. I've managed to renovate the interior somehow. So though the building looks crumbled and in need of condemning, my little door leads to a lavish little place of darkness I call home." He explained to her with a snicker and he put the cigarette between his teeth and flashed yet another teasingly evil grin at her. "I never got your name either, miss... I'm Braxton.. Braxton Redfield." He said in a deep voice as he would wrap his lips around the filter and inhale the smoke. Then blow it out in the opposite direction of the flower in front of him. "Wouldn't want you wilting from second hand smoke. Even though we're the same. It doesn't affect us."
