The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

"You're the pride of this family, Gideon... You alone have done so much for us, and I couldn't be prouder to have you as my son... "
The words of his late father played in his head more times than he could count. Especially since those were the last words he ever heard from him. Before that day he allowed greed to get the better of him. Gideon always knew wealth would be his downfall, especially in this line of work he was so masterfully skilled in. But it just came with the territory; If people were willing to pay you a handsome price to kill someone, you did it no questions asked. All you asked was time, place, and if they had a specific manner of how they'd like their target killed. And if you carried it out successfully, you got a rush of Adrenaline. It was a thrill to just be in the moment of the kill, and hear the heartbeat from meters away. That sound was like listening to an orchestra play the most beautiful symphony.
Perhaps, this was something only someone as twisted and cold as he would think or explain how one felt in the heat of the kill.
So there he was, emerging from a warehouse while wiping his blade clean of blood. The silver glimmered in the sunlight as he quickly sheathed it and cloaked himself into the shadows so he could count his money in peace.
This wasn't the first time a client had requested him to lure a victim to a meeting point and do a public killing of sorts, of which he always got a handsome payment for. Every dollar bill that he held up in the sunlight was good and clean: No counterfeits. Though if they were, he knew he could easily find his client and well... Resolve the matter quietly and swiftly. And it would indefinitely be silent, especially since no one could really hear you scream if you were choking on your own blood. He sat there after putting his money away and coming back from his cloaked state.
Thinking of how that where he killed in front of his client, gurgling like they were drowning as a rush of red would rush into the confines of their windpipes.
And the taste of copper on their tongue being the last thing they ever taste, as their body loses all feeling and life and in great, dramatic fashion, they fall to the ground and paint it with their crimson fluid. It was a beautiful sight. And he loved it.
Gideon removed his hood from his head and looked around the district and saw a lot of warehouses. He did wonder if any of them housed any sort of goods that would be worth a pretty penny, but that wouldn't be his area of expertise; Even though he was stealthier than the common thief, who resorted to simple entry points and where to wait. As he stood on the steel walls, in his assassin gear that was a deep sea blue; The top was a flowing type of coat that had a hood that covered most of the face so that a victim that possibly escaped couldn't put a face to their killer. On his waist was a set of black belts that held his tools, and two sheaths that covered his blades. Of course, those were easily hidden by his coat. And his pants were fitting to his figured that allowed him to have a lot freedom of movement, and boots that were made for gripping onto surfaces, should he have to make a run for it and climb up walls.
Gideon would finally come out of the shadows and his Raven hair shined in the bright sunlight like it had been freshly dyed, and his orbs were a mesmerizing bright brown that resembled the shine of a chocolate diamond. It was a good thing he chose to wear contacts vice glasses, since they would be inhibitors in his line of work.
Gideon fell back onto a wall and drew a heavy sigh. He was rather worn down from a lack of sleep. This wasn't like it was when he was human. At least when he had jobs that required him to travel great distances on foot or horseback, he could at least take shelter in an abandoned house or even take someone hostage in their own home. As he was about to come off the wall again, he heard footsteps that were nearby. Instinct kicked in, and he would reach for his knife and clutch it into his hands.
"Great... Someone I didn't want to kill.. "
He said with his accent showing itself as he took a deep breath and waited silently for the person to show themselves.
