West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

TRYING NOT TO WASTE MY TIME; ELAIN

Tonight was the night.

Benjamin busts through his apartment door, cheeks flushed with cold and nose red with windburn. It was certainly winter out there, that was for sure. He is still wearing his soccer pants, his shin guard remaining hidden beneath them. He throws his soccer bag onto the ground as a high pitched whistle slips passed his lips, calling for the most important person in his life, well, she wasn't exactly a person. The sound of claws and paw pads on hardwood can be heard as a little red and white Australian shepherd looking puppy comes tearing around a corner, diving into Benji's arms. He catches her just in time to avoid her diving into the wall. "You want to see Elain today?" He asks the puppy, and the little one wags her tail, and Benjamin likes to think perhaps she remembers Elain and was excited to see her as Benjamin was. "Alright, well let me get ready," he says setting her down and reaching for a tiny tennis ball, throwing it across the floor for her to chase after and (hopefully) keep her occupied, at least for a little while.

Benjamin strips off his sweaty soccer clothes and jumps in the shower, washing his hair and body quickly, though still relishing in the heat of the water streaming down on him. He didn't have much time to get ready. Rushing out of the shower, Benji quickly dries himself off before heading to his closet. Never one to be too concerned with fashion, Benjamin doesn't take too long to decide before throwing on a pair of faded black skinny jeans, a clean white shirt, topping it off with a black flannel with thin white lines creating large blocks all over it. He leaves it unbuttoned and puts on a pair of black socks before returning to the bathroom. He brushes his teeth, double checking that nothing was stuck in them. Satisfied, he gives a practice smile to the mirror (funny, how he thinks he will actually smile, when more often than not he usually isnt.) He rubs the towel against his hair in a quick attempt to dry it, before shrugging, figuring his hair would dry by the time he saw Elain, and regardless of what he did with it, his dark locks would always be messy. Benji nearly forgets to put on deodorant before he leaves the bathroom, but thank goodness he does. Entering the kitchen within his small studio apartment, the young man fills up a thermos of hot chocolate, knowing a warm drink will be much needed for what he has in store.

Finally ready to go, he grabs his soccer jacket off of its hook, knowing it's the only piece of clothing he owns that has a remote chance of keeping him warm. He grabs Des's leash and swiftly attaches it to her collar, all the while the pup jumps up and down excitedly. Benji quickly glances at his watch and his stomach drops, he was going to be late. And while it comes as a surprise to Benjamin (as it did every time he was late) it probably wouldn't come as a surprise to ElainĂ¢â‚¬"he was always late to everything that wasn't school or soccer. He sends her a quick text: gonna be late, sorry! be there soon, I'm bringing the puppy. He smiles as he presses send.

It isn't too far of a walk from where he lives to the corner of a street near the warehouse district when he finds her. "Hey, sorry," he says as he casts those amber eyes sheepishly downwards. Benjamin takes a step backwards to take in her attire for the evening. "Did you dress warm like I asked you to?" He asks, almost accusingly, even though he doesn't mean to be. And, besides, he was being a complete hypocrite, dressed only in jeans and a light jacket and flannel. Eyes light up though as he remembers what is in his hands. HIs lip twitches into an almost smile "Oh, I brought hot chocolate for our little adventure this evening..." he says trailing off as the almost smile entirely falters and slips back into a frown. "I forgot cups," he says. He looks to Elain and mumbles an apology under his breath before he gestures her to follow him.

The young man with those firestorm eyes made from amber leads the girl to an abandoned warehouse, leads her inside and up some rickety stairs. He looks over his shoulder occasionally to make sure she is alright and wasn't about to fall, before they get to an area with a hole in the ceiling. Benjamin jumps upwards and reaches onto an old pipe or something or another, and pulls himself up before turning around to grab onto Elain's delicate hands and pull her up as well onto the abandoned and forgotten rooftop.

"Now," he begins, opening his arms in a grand gesture, "time to sit back and relax and enjoy a lunar eclipse."
