West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It seemed Azrael wasnt too mad at her about not asking Kohl about the night he was made. It was probably pretty traumatic for him so she didnt want to dredge up bad memories. After all, it didnt matter how he was made, only that he was and she found him that day in the park. She knew Azrael wouldn't be that upset if they never found Kohl but she wouldnt rest until they did. Kohl meant too much to her to just forget him. Besides, Viktor was probably looking for him too. The lackey they killed didnt know a lot so there were probably hunters above him searching out Kohl.

She didn't blame Azrael for killing the hunter. He would have just gotten back to Viktor with the information hed learned from them and she sure as hell wasnt going to strengthen his information load. At least he made it quick for the hunter, which is probably more than she would have afforded him with all the smart remarks about Kohl and what Viktor wanted to do to him. She knew leaving the body wasnt the hunter way but Viktors crew would be sure to find him and report back. Then Viktor could decide if he wanted to leave the evidence for the local authorities to find or if he wanted to clean up his own mess.

She rolled her eyes at Azrael's continual onslaught about not telling the Council about Viktor. He brought up the pictures and she snorted. "Cause they were personal, Azrael. He was targeting ME. Not the Council. Me and Kohl. It had nothing to do with you or your precious Council." Plus she didnt want anyone looking at those pictures. Pictures of her and owl being intimate was hardly anything she wanted in the hands of anyone, especially the Council. They were nothing but nuns in her opinion.

They made it to Kohl's and she was happy that nothing looked broken. Everything looked pretty much exactly the way she remembered it. Except it was so empty and Kohl wasnt there. Azrael made a comment about ho clean everything was and she couldnt help but laugh. "When the owner is OCD, it has to be that way. And he doesnt like cracks in the floor. Another OCD thing, i assume." She shrugged. It had never bothered her though she remembered getting a lot of amusement out of it when she first found out. She smiled, remembering the disgruntled look on Kohl's face. She missed that. She missed him.

Azrael moved through the apartment and she had fight the urge to tell him to stop, to leave. Somehow anyone else being here just seemed wrong, like he was rummaging through her underwear drawer or something. It was just so raw and intimate. Everything in this place had a spot in her memories. Everything had a memory attached to it. She ran her fingers down the counter in the kitchen. Still immaculate. The lights flicked on and she jumped, looking around, noticing it was happening in other rooms too. Azrael muttered something about timers and she made a "mm" noise of agreement as she kept looking. She smiled again. Kohl. He really was a genius. She quirked a brow when Azrael emphasized the word almost. "My goodness, Azrael, ill have to let Kohl know how you idolize him. I'm sure it'll go straight to his head." Her voice dripped with sarcasm as she smirked in his direction.

She followed Azrael into the study, remembering that as the place where she found the pictures in the envelope from Viktor. She almost expected to find it all still there but of course it was spotless, void of even his prized laptop that usually set there. Though that wasnt surprising. Of course he would take it with him. His whole life was on that laptop. At Azrael's question, she shrugged. "His laptop of course. What else would be on a desk in a study?" She smirked good naturedly.

He told her she could check the bedroom so she headed that way next. She sighed as she stood in the bedroom, taking in the comfortable bed that took up most of the room and the spacious bathroom connected to it that held so so many memories. Slowly she moved into the room, going to check the closet and the dresser. Her clothes were still there of course and her hands shook as she opened drawers, reliving days of the past. She shook her head at the questions shot her way. "The only time I've traveled with him, we stayed with his friends. No other houses that i know of though it wouldn't surprise me if he did. He has friends in Paris. Um..." she tried to remember their names. "Elena and Etienne. I dont know their last names." She shrugged. "I dont know about travel agents. I'm sure he has one, probably whoever works for their company KohlTech." She held her tongue on the last comment. She hoped he was hiding from Viktor.
