The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.
Bartender Raylin Chike
Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Apparently he underestimated her persistence, acting surprised when she mentioned their friendship. He acted thoughtful for a few minutes and she grinned, victory already sparking in her eyes. Finally he spoke and Malia gasped. "It's so pretty!" She giggled. "You did mutilate it something awful but it was a nice attempt. What did it mean?" He laughed when she mentioned Spanish being a dirty language and she turned to look at him. He said he wasn't sure about that but offered her some Spanish too. Her mouth gaped at first. He definitely said her name in it but she said she would guess. She nibbled her bottom lip for a minute, looking down at her feet before she looked back up. "Umm...you said I am pretty and you admire me." She grinned, totally set on it even though she had no idea what he really said. Bella just sounded like something pretty and there was a word that almost sounded like admire so she just went with it. She wondered why Nadya wouldn't have told her about her heritage but then they'd never really had that conversation so maybe she should have just brought it up. Tetradore seemed amused when she said that he was better at brooding than Tobias probably was. He rolled his eyes but she only smirked, set on her own opinion. Tetradore seemed to admit that Raven and her mate were a unique pair, that they were good for each other. Malia smiled, liking the idea of Were's finding happiness with each other. It made her do a double take on Tetradore, really trying to study his face. He seemed so lonely sometimes. Didn't he have need of anyone? She wondered if something had happened before she came here. Something bad. But there was no way he was going to tell her about it. She had to drag everything out of him tooth and claw. He looked a little strange when she mentioned Henry and Ashton, but he was so unreadable. He just seemed to like to be alone all the time, but was it out of wanting it that way or thinking he needed it that way? At least he told her of Mira and how they should meet. He even said he would help make that happen and she wouldn't even have to sniff anything. She smirked and shrugged. "Works for me." She asked about going to the car show with him and he said he already had someone going with him. She scowled, a little disappointed, but nodded anyway. At least he wasn't going alone. He said he would bring something home if it caught his eye and even invited her to help him break it in. She gasped, her eyes lighting up. "Really? Cool!" She was eager at the prospect of riding in one of those fast cars. She lifted a brow at Tetradore. "Wait...you are a good driver, right?" She smirked, her gaze teasing. Then they started talking about the rich people. Tetradore looked over at her, surprised, when she said shopping sucks. He said that he didn't like shopping and partying and she smirked. Something they could agree on. Then he said he got the boat for Nadya and Tobias. Her face sobered as he said they were homeless for a little while. She couldn't imagine him living on the streets. She'd never thought about it. Then he said he was too lazy to get anything else and she smirked a little. "Sounds like you." She said teasingly, but then they were in front of the fence she remembered so well from that night she'd tried to talk to the dog through the fence and had a gun pointed at her for her trouble. She turned to Tetradore as he told her exactly where the painting was in the house. She raised a brow. Wow, he'd really studied for this thing. She nodded with a little smirk. "Yes sir, so what's the plan?" |
