It wasn't often that Nadya entered the west district anymore. She tried her best to choose paths that wouldn't have her bumping into an of the Nightshade pack, especially her brother. Frost had assured her that he had settled things with her brother but Nadya wasn't sure she was quite ready to even see him herself yet. The wounds of being shunned over and over were too great of a pain to want to put her children at the possible receiving end of that. Still, the butcher on this side of town was the best so Nadya had ventured just over the border to pick up the artfully divided meat she had hunted and delivered herself.
On her hasty way back down the road she heard scuffling within the building she was passing. Immediately her mind went to being followed. Perhaps Tobias had picked up her scent and the man child was following her. The brief mixed emotions that flooded her system of irritation and nostalgia was an unwelcome one. He was the unintentional father of her children which made things more complicated. That irritation that bristled her skin caused Nadya to divert from the sidewalk and into the building with the intention of telling Tobias off.
The young woman faltered slightly rounding the corner of that entryway and seeing that it was no more than a child making the noise. Nadya readjusted the bag on her arm as she leaned against the doorway to watch the child lost in whatever fantasy she found herself in. She found herself equally as lost in the child's graceful movements that were a creative mix of ballet and contemporary. Nadya didn't dare interrupt the joy that the girl was so obviously immersed in. Of course the curiosity did enter her thoughts on why a child would be here in the first place and alone though she also knew children tended to have the habit to go exploring.
Nadya watched as the girl finished her dance only to collapse upon the dirty floor. Only then did Nadya speak, a simper gracing her features, "You're quite the talented dancer." Her voice was soft and encouraging as she let her presence be known though didn't move from her place in the doorway. Children could startle easily and there was still a chance of a parent coming in and disliking a stranger so close to their child. "You've chosen an interesting place to practice. This side of town isn't the best to be exploring on your own. Do you have an adult nearby?"
