West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Even though Tetradore was laughing at Tobias' inability to walk in boots properly Raven didn't do anything to keep him from being quiet, like she did with Jackal. Instead she allowed him to laugh so much as he pleased hoping it didn't do any damage to wreck Tobias' attempt at walking with shoes on his feet. At least he was trying. Hopefully on their wedding day he would be better at walking in shoes...with a bit more practice...okay a lot of practice. The attention on her mate deviated towards the little Fae dressed as a snow leopard. As she complemented the girl on her attire she shook her head in dismay as the girl declared her mate a hero. Yes, because her spotted companion needed more reason for his ego inflate. Seeing the so-called hero agree with title she gave a small nod in agreement, knowing she was making his pride grow even more.

With Tobias claiming leopards were the best she was happy to tease him by declaring panthers were her favorite. Seeing that scowl on his face made her grin even wider. As Maeve came towards each of them to give a hug, she stroked the girl's beach blonde hair gently, a small simper on her face. Briefly she looked up to see that not all the Halloween decorations were up. This was going to be a problem. It may be mean of her, but she was going to use everyone here to help get the job done. The promise of candy and Halloween cookies should be a very good incentive for everyone to complete the task they had been given. Blue-grey eyes widened when she heard the young girl squeal, her head turning quickly to see just why the girl would be frightened. A nearly naked Henry seemed about right. A helpless shrug was given as she replied to his inquiry.

"We didn't know a child was coming, Henry, but it looks like we'll have one here more often."

Honestly if she would have known she would have made sure the place was decorated before she came. After all she was a child and she should be marveling at the decorations. Not shrieking at a man who was...dressed extremely abnormally. What he was supposed to be she had no idea. Seeing him standing away from the pack she assumed he had other plans than spending any time with them. Although she could use more help she wouldn't ask it from him. The familiar voice of Alexis caused her attention to shift away from Henry and towards the vixen dressed in black. A small nod was given in thanks to Alexis' silent gesture of approval for her costume. As her mate inquired the fox whether or not her weapons were real, Raven replied quite gently.

"No, Alexis gets real weapons, because she isn't stab happy. But she isn't going to use her weapons on anyone, is she?"

Blue-grey eyes moved over towards her friend, silently asking the girl to agree with her comment, because the last thing she needed right now was a pouty leopard. Grinning at Mira's presence and explanation to Tetradores' lack of a costume, she nodded quietly in agreement. But it seemed that her mate was willing to keep the were-panther included in their festivities by declaring him one of his merry men. There were a lot of words in the English language that should not be used to describe Tetradore, and one of them was merry. There was hardly ever a time when she actually saw him look cheerful. One eye-brow was raised when she heard the beginning of a curse word on the top of Tetradore's tongue. As he gave her the box of bats she looked over at everyone, making sure they started to work on their tasks. Heading over towards Alexis she bumped her shoulder gently into her's, encouraging the woman to walk with her.

"You can help me with the bats Alexis. We can hang them along the rafters. Now...try not to move around too much."

Without waiting for Alexis to respond by what she meant, the were-fox would start to levitate slowly, rising up towards the rafters. She would levitate one bat at a time towards Alexis to start hanging them, and she would slowly rotate her towards another rafter to complete their job.
