West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

What reason did the pale golden haired fae child have to fear Tobias? For the leopard had come to the pale child when it seemed that no one else was around and (through his own special way of course) he had calmed that high soprano cries and brought a smile to the small fae's tear streaked face. And so, like Tobi, Maeve felt entirely content and safe in the leopard's company. His head nod as much assurance as she would need. "I'm pretty good at hiding," she notes with that soft soprano voice and indeed the golden haired child was. After all, she had managed to evade most of her foster parents for quite some time before someone remembering the amber alert sent out for her would suddenly recognize the child, although Maeve's face and description was often hard to forget. As if to prove her abilities to the leopard, she crouches down just a bit lower, perhaps only her fair golden hair showing, warm smile on her face as she looks up at Tobi before the pale girl settles to look at the hunters below.

The pale child's violet eyes follow where Tobias points to, a warm smile on her face as she realizes how gracious it is of the were to show Maeve where he lives. "Those are beautiful names," she says in her small, soprano voice. "Maybe I could meet them, I am really good with kittens," she says proudly, always having enjoyed playing with the younger children when her foster homes had them. The creamy haired girl would certainly nothing more than to spend the day with Tobi and his kittens.

The next words the leopard boy says appear as true magic to the fae child. Violet eyes light up as he tells the Maeve that she can visit her pack. "Oh, I would love that very much," she says in that high soprano voice with an innocent, gracious smile upon her lips as lavender eyes look up to the wild haired boy with some sort of admiration. She simply could not imagine this day getting any better.

And it wasn't about to it would seem, with the arrival of the hunters.

Maeve freezes beside the leopard boy, those lavender eyes that had been speckled with laughter and happiness for the day ahead are now wide with fear. Though, the child need not be afraid for long, for her knight in shining panther black armor was quick to arrive to save the fae in distress. The golden haired child is clinging to Tobias's leg when he appears before her violet eyes and she cannot help that a brief, tiny smile pulls onto her face at the sight of him. The petite child instantly knows that everything is going to be okay because she has Tobi and she has Aiden. Her superheroes. They stand on either side of the creamy haired child and one hand moves off of Tobi and reaches out with butterfly softness and gently rests on Tetra's own leg. And though the panther's voice sounds so angry, so rough, Maeve is not frightened of him, the child with liquid gold hair knows that he is here to protect her, that his aggression, along with Tobi's is not aimed towards her, but to the men attempting to bait Maeve towards them.

Maeve averts her purple gaze from the men, instead shuffling a bit more behind the two weres. "I don't want to go with you," the pale girl mumbles out. Tobias's words only confirm how the girl was feeling about the men and their lies that drop from their lips. And then Maeve is not entirely sure what happens next. Tobi points, a man begins acting crazy, and then there is yelling. Violet eyes on the pale planes of her face widen in shock. What was going on? They say a mean word, that is what brings the golden haired child's eyes back up to look directly at the man. "Tobi is not a freak, he is my friend!" She says with some sort of fierce determination despite her small size and fragile, pale exterior, like a pretty, little porcelain doll. That bold statement though is immediately followed by a scream of terror as a shot rings out, moving her only closer to her big cat protectors.

When the golden haired child hears someone yelling out to just grab her, she lets out a yelp of surprise before coming to fully hide behind Tobi. "Please don't give me to them, I want to stay with you," she cries out. And she turns those violet eyes to Tetra, "Please." The golden haired child then notices the claws that emerge in place of Tobi's fingers and those lavender eyes widen slightly. Surely something was about to happen and Maeve had a feeling that those boys were not about to hand her over without a fight. The golden haired fae then, in spite of everything that was going on around, all the danger and violence that threatened to come crashing down: she smiles.
