The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

With her patience comes her ability to be stubborn. His hiss and snorts of disdain were ignored. He may not understand why she was helping him or why the cream would torment and soothe his skin, but it should be clear that Raven was not trying to harm him. It was not in her nature to bring others some sort of pain. Unless they deserved it. However, she had no met anyone as of yet that would suffer with whatever fury she had when it came to others bringing her harm. She had endured long enough what it was like to suffer under the abuse from others and with her new found freedom she had no intention to ever go down that dark path again. Tobi had not done anything to deserve such a reaction. As her fingers continued to stroke gently along his neck, slowly getting underneath the collar to get to the most irritated part of his skin, she had felt heavy pressure on top of the counter top, hearing his claws press down on the hard surface. Though she did not move or flinch. He would not harm her. Why she was so assured of this was difficult to say, but she would continue applying the medical cream around his neck. His dark muttering would be ignored as she softly hummed attempting to coax some sort of calm in the riled boy. Her fingers could feel his muscles slowly start to relax, as she continued to touch his neck, his form lowering. With his head nearly in her lap and his knees on the ground, she would flinch away when his skull briefly touched her stomach. As soon as she was done applying the cream all around his neck and underneath the collar she allowed him to stand up once more, drying off her hands. She was quite taken back that he would seem so relaxed by her touch around his neck that she could only wonder what it was like. Was it really such a soothing and calming thing to experience?
Seeing him react away from her after her offer to take the scissor was a reaction she was prepared for. A kind smile was given to him as she remained sitting on the countertop. She did not want to make herself seen as a threat. Slowly she would make the x-mark across her chest, a sign that her promise would be true, and really how could he think she was lying to him? Always she stuck hold to her promise. Trust was so very important to her and she would do nothing to help break it. The few promises she had made with Tobias had always remained intact and he had no need to think she would lie to him. As he gave her the scissors, a small grin was given to him, as she moved to tear a paper towel from its tube. Putting her fingers through the holes, she would cut the paper towel easily, noting how much in awe he was over a simple thing. Though why he was so in awe of something he could so easily do with his claws was beyond her. As soon as she was done, as promised, she handed him back the scissors. Tilting her head to the side she noticed how he was able to handle it easily with his left hand, puzzled as to why he would use his left when she noticed how much he had often used his right. As he cut the corner of the paper towel, she flashed him a grin and a nod of approval, hearing him ooh in wonder. Though his slow pace was gone. As he began to cut through the paper towel quickly, there was a flash of concern on her face, as he began to move around the kitchen cutting through the latest orders of bullet casings. She frowned some not pleased at all that she would have to clean it up.
It was when he turned his youthful façade towards her that caused her own to mask the disappointment of the oncoming threat of cleaning up after his mess as she too tilted her head to the side. His demand is met with a nod as she eased herself off the countertop. Quietly she walked making note of his dark eyes on her lithe frame hoping that her reaction was some sort of appeasement. She never did like being stared at. As she sat down upon the chair she always favored when they had their meals together, her head would quickly turn in his direction. Confused and taken aback by his words she simply stared at him, blue-grey eyes showing curiosity and uneasiness at the same time. What he was up to she did not know, but she wasn't quite sure why he was willing to do such a thing. So, with a nod of agreement she sat on her chair, watching him carefully a little bit eager to see. She was never given a good surprise before. Always when members of her pack said they had some sort of surprise it was always a new technique in keeping her 'under check,' but truthfully it was just another method they would apply to remind the creature that she deserved the mistreatment she received. As his towering frame moved towards the refrigerator and grabbed something out, she could hear the scissors being used cutting up something, but what she did not know. As his dark eyes shifted towards her she flinched as he snapped at her. Before she covered her eyes with her hands she murmured softly to him.
"Tobi...please...be careful."
Hearing him move throughout the kitchen was quite a terrifying thing. She wasn't sure what she could do at this point in time. Hearing the microwave be turned on and the toaster working she flinched wishing to uncover her eyes and see what in the world he was up to. Her frame tensed even more as she heard complete silence for a moment. Hearing him place the plate and mug on the table caused her remove her hands from her eyes to see a pleased boy brimming with pride. Blue-grey eyes would shift to see his attempt to make tea and...whatever the hell it was on her plate. A small smile was given to the boy as she made her voice sound brighter, masking her dislike at the fact she would have to eat his meal.
"This looks great Tobi...but...I must have done something wrong....I did not show you the best part about making tea."
Moving from the table she would grab the empty mug and head towards the stove. Placing the mug on the countertop, ignoring the claw marks he had previously made earlier, she would bend down and open the cupboard. Taking the tea pot out she would walk towards the sink, filling it with water, and afterwards head towards the stove. Placing the water filled pot on top, she would begin to turn the stove on, hearing the click as a blue and white flame appeared underneath the pot. All while doing this, did she speak slowly, pausing every now and then to make sure he was understanding and paying attention.
"We have to put water in this pot, and then we have to place it on the stove and turn it on...see? Best part...you have fire...if I turn the knob here...you see the little flame underneath...but do not touch."
She would stand there in front of the stove for a moment waiting as she folded her arms in a comforting manner. Her head would turn to him giving him a grin. Moving towards the upper cabinets she grabbed another empty mug and dug through the box of tea bags to find a tea she assumed he would like, a sweet tasting one. Placing it next to the mug Tobi had given her earlier, she heard the pot began to whistle. Reaching over for the stove, she turned the knob to shut the stove off, and picked the pot up from the handle, pouring the warm water into each mug, the water quickly turning into a darker brown color as the aroma of the teas filled their nose. Placing the pot back on the stove she would grab the two mugs heading for the table, all the while speaking slowly and gently once more.
"When the pot whistles...the water is hot enough and you pick up the handle and pour the hot water in the mug...and so...tea. Would you like to try?"
As soon as she returned back to her chair she would place Tobi's mug beside the chair he normally seemed to sit in. As she took a sip of her tea, her eyes would waver to the plate of cut up onions battered with butter. Although she did not wish to eat such a thing she did not wish to disappoint him either. For some reason she just couldn't bring herself to do that to him. Slowly her hand would reach for the onions and she would pluck one from the plate. Hiding her dismay she would quickly place it in her mouth chewing it and swallowing it. She would copy this movement slowly, eating some off the plate if only to appease him.
"Thank you for the treat...but when you get the chance to be away from Risky you'll have to let me take that ridiculous collar off."
There. She ate it. All to make him happy.
