It was clear that someone could have told her about her situation far before it got to this part. The staff members who chose to snicker behind their hands could have said something, but then, there's no telling what kind of face Tobias was giving them unbeknownst to her. Obviously his look was enough to send Jackal on his way and Jackal was usually pretty good about letting others know about stuff like this. Surely, he would have told her if Tobias hadn't incessantly stopped him from speaking. At least Alexander or Tetradore hadn't seen her like this. It was already embarassing enough that half the staff on the Ark must have passed them in the hall before she found out.
She seemed to have thrown Tobias for a loop when she chose to ask him who drew on her face if it wasn't him. It took him some time to absorb it, but slowly she started to see the wheels turning as his eyes lit up. He clearly had come up with a good answer. He blamed the artwork on none other than his wife and her best friend, Raven. She scowled thoughtfully, pretending to mull it over, though she was well aware who the true culprit was. Still, she wanted to drag this out, if only for her own entertaining purposes. What else did she have to do today, after all? So she shook her head with a heavy sigh. "Then I guess we have no choice but to confront her. Maybe Tetradore should be in on it, too. That way he knows what his pack members are up to."
She put a determined look on her face, like she'd like nothing better than to bring Raven to justice. In reality, she would hate to have to show the drawings to anyone else, but she was willing to sacrifice her humility, if only to see if Tobias could keep up the show in front of others that knew him like his own alpha and wife. She let him absorb that before she brushed past him, walking with purpose toward Raven and his room. "Come on, let's find Raven."
