Tea was always a good drink to have for any situation. Are you upset or sad? Drink some tea. Are you happy and content? Drink some tea. Are you afraid or anxious? Drink some tea. Are you feeling unwell? Drink some tea. Tea was an excellent beverage to have when reading a book. Raven was trying to use Dorians' wedding gift, the golden tea set, rather than stuff it back in the box and hide it. She was still hesitant on the inanimate objects. Having an elaborate tea set like this was absolutely unnecessary! Dorian needed to purchase appropriate gifts for the right person. A diplomat or a daughter of a King deserved a golden tea set, but she didn't. Raven was pleased that Alexis didn't say anything about the tea set. The lupine didn't want the fox to think that she had an acquired taste for such nonsense things like an entire golden tea set. It was gaudy and silly, but having a tea set was very useful. Alexis' hint of some sort of mischievous act they could get themselves into tonight was answered with a sigh as she gave the wily vixen a small simper. If Alexis' wanted to do something fun while they checked on their boundaries tonight she would happily play along. When Alexis suggested that she and her mate meet Alexander Raven felt a little bit iffy about it. Not everyone was patient when it came to her leopard. What better way to illustrate her concern then with an example when she needed her husband to be on his best behavior.
"When we went to King Dorian and Sebastian's' wedding in Italy, Tobias made a comment to the King of Spain that he liked his pointy hat. Then proceeded to go about collecting half-eaten plates and finishing it off."Taking another sip of her tea she watched as the girls' eyes seemed to gloss over. Probably thinking about her Dark Hunter or attempting to see Tobias at some ritzy gala being a bit foolish. Blue-grey eyes watched as she turned her body to the side, leaning in her chair at her direction. Her head tilted to the side a bit curious as to what Alexis was doing. It wasn't often others asked about herself and Tobias. With a silent nod, Raven encouraged the young woman to ask whatever was on her mind. Hearing the question she turned her head towards the unused fireplace, staring at it for a moment. It was a bit odd with their situation. Tobias wasn't the type that really asked her anything. It wasn't that he didn't have an interest in her, it just wasn't something he did. And on her part she only brought up her past when necessary to further explain. It was clear that she was asking to know whether or not she should share such things, it was something she wished she could do with her own husband.
"We don't much actually. It isn't that we don't want to. It's not something Tobias inquiries about myself. When I try to ask about him, he does not recall much. I don't think it's bad if you and Alexander bring up your past, it helps explains why you are the way you are. I think it shows you care when you try to learn about someone, especially someone you like and want to connect with. And I don't know much about dating either, and yet I ended up being married. I am sure you and Alexander will do well together."
