West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

What You'll Find Here

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Syn

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Some more innate sense, surely one of the ones I continued to ignore despite the fact Kat consistently told me otherwise, managed to offer some indication that I wasn't alone once more, gaze shifting from the smouldering wreckage before me to turn and face what was a rather lovely woman, the girl halted several feet from myself and indeed for a moment I half wondered why. It was easy to forget, I suppose, about my...accident, about my near death and this apparent second chance at life I'd been given, even if I'm still in something of a denial-like state about it. I don't want to be any sort of Dark Hunter, I don't have any drive or any desire to hurt anyone or anything. It's really not my style and honestly, this newfound Hunter status seems to be particularly good at repelling women, rather than attracting them. Then again I hadn't exactly been frequenting the bars and clubs like I used to, one step inside and half the damn patrons run. Hmm, maybe I should just go with it, hell, maybe I could make it work if I went with it rather then fighting it and yet, some part of myself I suppose- isn't really willing to accept any sort of great change. I like women, I like women far more than I probably should and yet if that is my only crime, other then perhaps sampling more than two or three a night then I fail to see what I did to deserves this death sentence I've been handed. I suppose that beats actually being dead, not that I'm all that picky mind, if it's female I'm entirely assured I can make it smile. That might be my one true talent.

One hand moved to lift upward, fingers dropping the edge of the Ray Bans slightly, letting the blue gold of my gaze view the women in her entirety, offering the barest view of my own eyes before I moved to shield them once more, unwilling to let myself become entirely to aware of the cracks. She was a pretty thing, truly and to be honest I could use the company, whatever desire I was supposed to feel to find something to stake her with near entirely absent, besides, I have no inclination to snap a chair leg or anything to even make a weapon- I'm not even entirely sure I could snap a chair and yet really I see no need to offer any display of masculine prowess right now, her question earning her a momentary grin, oblivious to the persuasion layered within the question. She would have hardly needed it either way, when it comes to pointless banter there is little I see the need to hide, a soft chuckle humming within my throat at her words.

"These shoes really aren't made for running, so at the risk of destroying a perfectly lovely pair I'm inclined to believe you might be safe for tonight."

I grinned once more, the gesture light, teasing, arms folding loosely back across my chest as she moved to lean against the wall in turn. Maybe I'd been wrong, maybe this night could be salvaged after all, I moved to take another sip of coffee as she gestured to the debris around us, another chuckle easing from my lips as she moved to tap at her chin before asking after a secret, one eye lifting slightly in mild amusement as I moved to shift forward, curious I suppose, to see if she was going to run screaming like half the population tended to do despite the fact I've never even managed to shoot a gun properly. I also think staking anything or decapitating anything requires far more upper body strength then I'm willing to believe I have. Not to say I don't have a nice body, I do, I know what the inside of gym looks like and yet really I simply prefer a more...intimate form of workout. Reward for effort after all, is by far the most successful exercise regime. I moved easily once more, strolling across the small space of ground that separated us, leaning calmly against the wall beside her. She could run if she wanted but really, I am very pretty and who runs away from the pretty things in life now, hmm?

"It depends what sort of secret you want to hear."

I shrugged loosely, balancing my half empty coffee neatly on one finger, regarding her momentarily beneath the lens of my glasses, dark golden hair falling as always back into my eyes as I flicked it aside, a smirk of sorts tracing my lips now. Did this count as cheating? Kat and I weren't exactly...together I suppose, even if some part of myself wanted more for her.

"I know rather a lot of secrets after all. As for the bar, I'm not entirely sure who, but I may know what was responsible. I met a Leopard here, just recently, one running away from the blaze and if what I've heard is true enough the vampire who used to run this place enjoyed keeping Were's, namely big cats as...pets I suppose. Maybe they finally got annoyed. Although why anyone would desire a pet I hardly know, cats scratch furniture."

And furniture did look so much better not torn up. Whether my suggestion was correct or even close I hardly knew and truly I hardly cared, I hadn't exactly been welcomed into Syn with open arms and yet I'd seen enough to know it hadn't been entirely a waste of my time, they did have nice dancers after all, the woman beside me seeming to share the sentiment. I frowned momentarily, not entirely sure I remembered any male dancers and yet, hell, maybe we both shared a taste for women I hardly know, maybe it doesn't matter, having someone not run away from me is an opportunity I am hardly going to waste, moving to drain the last of the coffee from the cup.

"Were you know? You might have to tell me how you did it sometime, for some ridiculous reason they seem a little annoyed when I talk to them. It may be charm. Vampires find it astounding."

I am entirely sure it was the fact they were so terrified of my attempting to stab them they ran for hills, but really, I was amusing myself now and I saw no need to get of my company any time soon, chuckling softly once more, words good-natured, easy before I moved to lean off the wall once more, hands tucking back into my pockets as strode forward a few strides.

"Well then, Alice, are you coming? We could stand here and discuss what we might have done with the dancers, or we can go and find some more. There's another place just up the road over here, if your brave enough, hmm?"

It was entirely a dare, words attempting to appeal to that more...adventurous side of herself, hoping to overpower whatever fear she still had of me at this point, seeing how bold she might be entirely willing to be, the bar up the street at least one that was willing to let me in and like I said, I could use the company, hell, I could use even one friend, offering her a grin once more before simply beginning to stride up the street.

"It's Kohl, by the way."
