West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Ryuji Hiroto

"Everything goes exactly how I predicted it, though minutiae is different, I nailed the gist of it" -Uyama Hiroto

Thank god the incident saved him from dealing with the sloppy drunk. He now found himself listening in on the conversation between the two women. The two could not have been more opposite. Trying to read the situation, it seemed as though they hadn't known each other prior to this meeting. The blonde foreign girl spoke with a French accent. The language vastly different from Ryuji's own mother tongue it proved to be a bit of a challenge understanding her. The way she spoke was like soft butter melting into the next string of words whereas common Japanese was like a crisp metronome. The French woman had an air of elegance and poise, or perhaps it was just prissiness. You could tell just by looks that she lived in a whole other world than Ryuji's. That was why it was weird that someone like her would end up in this kind of bar. Was it naiveté or confidence? Was she unfamiliar with the city and didn't know the dangers that crept around in places like this during the evening hours? Or was she overconfident and the thought of something terrible happening to her didn't even cross her mind? He couldn't help but assume she had been sheltered most of her life. Her appearance and attitude at least hinted towards that.

Trying to listen and decipher her speech, Ryuji caught the gist that she had recently moved. He noticed her attention immediately dart to the bubbly pink haired woman next to them. The whimsical pink haired woman beamed with a bright wide smile as she exclaimed, she worked at the bar here. Turning toward Ryuji, she inquired about how long he had been singing for. "Singing on and off since I was a kid. Recently moved here and have just been rapping at whatever place will take me." "What made you decide to work at a place like this?" Ryu inquires. She seemed to be the free-spirited type. No social status or type of crowd seemed to sway her from initiating conversation with someone. Was that fearlessness or stupidity? It was another culture shock he felt. Where he came from, you never knew who the other person ran with and you sure as hell didn't start talking to someone at random. Besides that, the people of the city were so disconnected that it was taboo to initiate conversation with random strangers. Then again, Sacro seemed to be a complete opposite of his last residence. Sure, there were still turf wars and certain areas that were dangerous, but the beauty was that the city was so large that most could vanish in it. It seemed everyone in this city had something they were trying to escape from. Ultimately, that was what he was doing as well.

He listens to her response as their topic transitions to the pink haired woman offering to show the French lady around the nicer parts of the city. "No offense, but I don't think you'd do well to continue wandering in this part of town. At least not at this time of night. You aren't the typical person to hang around here, you'd become an easy target." He warns the innocent looking French woman with a serious tone as he waves the working bartender down for a second drink. "What brings you here anyway, to Sacro?" he asks the petite blonde. "I'm Ryuji by the way," he states matter-of-factly. "I'm not sure I caught either of your names," he adds, casually leaning against the bar, as he waits for his second drink.
