West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

The fact that he was trying to make her see how he wanted to know about her life really meant a lot to Alexis. She knew he had a lot going on and a lot of responsibilities always calling his name, yet in this moment, he was listening to her and it felt good. She finally told him where she worked and timidly looked over at him as he processed it. Finally he asked if she enjoyed it and she nodded with a smile. "It's not too fast paced and most of the customers are older and pleasant to talk to. I can even work the cash register a little." She was still clumsy on the numbers and don't EVER ask her to do math, but for the most part, she got the job done. As Tetradore stopped at a building called the Bakery, Alexis looked out at it in curiosity. She'd seen it during her outings in Sacrosanct, though she'd never been inside. She turned her gaze back to her alpha as he spoke, talking about the place and the owner before he mentioned something interesting.

Her brow lifted in puzzlement as she tilted her head at him. "You sound as if you know him." Curiosity glittered in her gaze for a moment. Alexander wasn't obnoxiously cocky, at least not to her, but he did carry a lot of inner confidence with him that was obvious to anyone who might get to know him. As Tetradore stepped out of the car, Alexis followed in his wake, shutting the door quietly before she turned toward the building. She let him lead her into the Bakery where the warmth enveloped her like a cozy blanket. Smiling, she turned her gaze back to Tetradore when he asked a question and nodded. "Yeah, it's feeling better. You?" Concern flickered in her gaze, wanting to make sure he wasn't more hurt from the smoke than he let on. As he gestured to the counter, she stepped up and cleared her throat softly, glancing over the menu on the board for a moment before she smiled at the lady. "I'll take a hot chocolate, please."
