The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.
Bartender Raylin Chike
Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It is wise that her easily angered friend decided to ease up on her. It was easy for her to move in such a submissive position whenever a harsh glare was thrown her way. It was easier to cower to appease whomever was looking at her with such disdain. All she wanted was for Tobi to stop being upset with her. Especially when she couldn't comprehend what he wanted from her. She watches him all the time even when he doesn't show off. Always she provides him her full attention, his need to parade himself around all for her just wasn't something he needed to do. He was already proving himself he was quite worthy of her time. He did not function like others, but that never bothered her. It was difficult to understand him some times, but usually she was able to pick up whatever it was he wanted. Though it was because he was trying to act and adapt to what a normal person would do, a small bit of his humanity was trying to peek through his actions. Portraying his humanity was easy to decipher. Understanding his animalistic side well...that wasn't so easy. She was deprived of that knowledge and not just because they were of two difference sub-species of Weres. With his frame not as agitated and his friendly greeting providing a stable and calm beginning of a do-over she slowly began to relax. Appreciating her spotted feline friend for not treating her as if she did something wrong.
His look of surprise caught her interest and she played along to his ploy. She wasn't quite sure why he was shocked by something in the kitchen. He was quite easily distracted and seemed fascinated with the simplest thing like a blender, or a spoon, why the other day he was amazed that water could be 'trapped' in a cup. These things may have concerned or troubled any typical person, but to the curly-haired woman she was not bothered by this at all- rather she was pleased to see something as innocent and childlike. She had never been able to have such awe and wonder in things before, as childlike as Tobi was able to, and in a small way she was jealous, but felt she could live through his childlike wonder...if only for a little bit. Raven was unaware that he would brush his lips gently along her nape, his teeth sinking into her skin simply caused her to sit, completely and utterly surprised. She could not move even if she tired. As his hand moved to grip her wrist, to keep her hand in place, it was an unnecessary thing for him to do. She was just too stunned. Raven knew she needed him off her, she was aware that she could slap him as he began to pull away, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. This was clearly not a human gesture...not once had she seen a human bite another. Even in her lupine form this gesture was never done in such a tender moment, rather, the need to bite another's neck was for the soul purpose of forcing them to submit, crush their windpipe, or simply kill them. These three things wasn't something he was doing which resulted if the young woman to be completely baffled. As his head tilts and his dark eyes linger on her she simply continued to stare.
As his tongue brushed across his lips the young woman shivered slightly feeling unease at such a thing. It was when his darkened gaze caught her bright blue-grey eyes did she begin to cower slightly. Hearing his fingers press and crack into the wood only allowed the woman to flinch, noticeable seemed calm as soon as he released the wooded table- though his fingerprints were left in the wood. When he moved towards her, she stayed in place, allowing his hands to grab her wrist and followed after him as he practically dragged her. Puzzled she follows obediently, picking up the pace to keep him from dragging her as they walked down the stairs and through the abandoned warehouse. As he opened the door, eyes widen slightly in fear, as she made her stand in the rain. His brutish command caused her to flinch and for a moment she felt like she was be punished or worse, that feeling of being abandoned crept up. She didn't want to be alone anymore. She finally felt okay when he was around, she felt like she could be herself and explore another side of her she hadn't been able to in the first place. He was her favorite person and the idea that he was going to force her to stay out here, alone, and the possibility he might not come back was quite a frightening thing. Her hand that he held on to would move to seek his palm as her hand held his, her grip tightening as her eyes sought his, whispering softly.
"Please...don't leave me. I do not...want to be alone...don't want to lose you."
She would try, she swore to herself, she would try much harder to understand him. As long as he didn't leave her behind. Letting go of his hand as he stormed back into the warehouse the young woman stayed as she was told. Folding her arms in front of her, shivering in the cold rain, she would stand quietly. Blue-grey eyes trained on the door waiting for his return. All the while she stood there afraid her mind began to rattle as she attempted to put the fragmented pieces together. The biting of the neck, the meaning behind it, she just couldn't understand no matter how hard she tried. When he comes back and stands in the door way, she attempts to move towards him, but stops herself remembering his last words to her. His package of dates catches her off guard as she stares at them and back at the boy, never not once ever seeing him eat let alone want to hold a piece of fruit. Hearing his growl she shook her head and quickly opened her palm allowing him to place the date firmly in her hand. Still not understanding it she blinked and stared. Pointing to her neck as he explained with his broken speech she stood silently, taking his words and the date to heart and thinking of the connection. A flicker of recognition appeared in her eyes as she murmured gently.
"Oh...I think I understand what you are trying to say."
Tobi could have chosen any fruit, but he chose the date for a specific purpose. His mind didn't work like others and so she began to think differently. Starting at the date in her palm, while her other hand was held up, her fingers gently stroking the deep imprint of where his teeth once were, mind still working to connect the dots. Keeping her eyes on the date, she spoke softly pausing every now and then whether it was because she was attempting to let him understand her or for her own weariness at the possibility of answering in correctly.
"You are want us to date...and you made this mark to show others I'm off limits, because...you are...trying to see if I would be a good...um...girlfriend...that is what you want?"
Blue-grey eyes shifted upwards as she tilted her head up. The cold rain was soaking through her clothes only tightened on her frail frame. The years of abuse had withered her to nothing but scarred skin and bone, but lately with her new found freedom she had some meat on her. She didn't look as unhealthy or helpless as her first days here. Golden brown curls clung to her neck and the side of her face as she continued to shiver in the rain, not moving an inch for shelter. It was his understanding of 'date' that made the girl give him a small smile. Gently she spoke making her tone soft and making it not sound like a lecture.
"Dating is not giving me fruits...although that is kind of you. Dating means we do things together...like we hangout doing what we like together...we find out if we are good for each other...and if we are...we stay together. You would be my boyfriend and I'd be your girlfriend and after that...should we both want to be something more...we become mates."
The very though and idea that she was being asked to have some sort of bond with another person was an amazing thing to her. Never in her life did she even dream or wish to have this type of relationship with another. The feeling of being owned left a sour taste in her mouth, but the meaning behind it made it a bit sweet. That he was wanting to go this route was a pleasing thing, and even though he had been in a physical altercation with Nadya- that part didn't necessary matter. Just before she was thinking he was abandoning her and now with his offering, for something so much more than she could phantom, she couldn't keeping him waiting for her answer. He moved on and that was good enough for her. Taking the bag of dates she held them, giving him a small simpler to match his crooked grin. Nodding her head, agreeing to his offer, she continues to stand in the bone chilling rain.
"But...we can date...we just had supper and we're alone together so...yes we are dating...but do I have to get wet? Can we not do something else, something dry and warm?"
Like letting me come back inside and get out of the rain...that would be swell!
