The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

There were several things Nadya was grateful for in those passing moments when so many other paths could have been taken by the wild leopard. First she was grateful that Tobias didn't just take off, second he didn't launch into one of his award winning man tantrums, and lastly not only did he relent without argument and shift to human form but he did so clothed. All in all that could be counted as an extremely good day for Tobias and a win for Nadya that with any other person perhaps would have called it a day and rewarded those three behaviors with doing something else. Baby steps they would have called it. But Nadya was for full results and behaving like an adult, or at least what could be passed for adult in Tobias standards, for the whole task. The task wasn't just getting Tobias into the store but to successfully navigate it and get items that were needed for the quickly approaching birth of the twins.
The problem with taking Tobias places was that he was just as much trouble to keep tabs on as a child was but worse since he had the benefit of being the size of an adult which raised his reach significantly. Honestly being charged with watching Tobias was probably the best trial anyone could be put through in order to see if they were ready for parenthood. Nadya had taken her eyes off Tobi when one of the employees greeted her warmly seeing her state of pregnancy and a moment later regretted it as his high-pitched yelp sliced through the air along with a box flying through the air. "Sorry, we're fine, I know what I need." Nadya sighed and turned back to Tobias to take his hand and steer him away from the toddler toys to the infant section. "That's fine, we won't get that toy, it's a scary toy but you can't say those words around kittens. They're grown-up words and will get in trouble if they say it because they heard you say it. And put your claws away. Claws are sharp and kittens are very fragile and the claws can hurt them very badly. You have to remember that." Again a soft sigh escaped her lips as she let go of his hand once they were safely in front of the multi-colored plastic and crinkly fabric toys galore for teething and sound stimulus. Everything in this section Nadya was confident Tobias couldn't be startled by and end up wrecking the entire store.
"These are the toys the kittens can have. Toys like the ones you got them for Christmas and ones they can put in their mouth like these." She plucked a toy off the rack that was a soft rubber key ring with multi-colored rubber keys to show him an example. "They need a bed to sleep in." Again Nadya turned Tobias' attention by pointing to the cribs. "And maybe we can get them a mobile." She stepped away from Tobias though made sure he was still watching her as she moved to the nearby crib with the mobile hanging over it and flipped the switch so the hanging monkeys and crescent moons rotated slowly with lullaby music drifting from it. "See, there are lots of choices that aren't scary. Just...remember the rules or they'll kick us out and the kittens won't have anything. You don't want the kittens to not have anything do you?" Surely she could find a way to work with Tobias on getting him to be more a part of things at least to learn what they could and couldn't have or needed for that matter. Her brother had wanted her to explain the whole ordeal to Tobias and Raven had insisted that Nadya give him a chance so here she stood doing just that.
