West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It feels good to have that gentle buzzing in the back of her mind. Ever since she joined the pack she always felt more in tuned with Tetradore, Regan, and more so with Tobias. Now that she was close with them she could always 'feel' where the other one was. Regan was somewhere far from the Ark and so her tether to the tiger was fuzzy. However, with Tetradore and Tobias her tether felt taunt reminding the girl that she was so very close to her Alpha and boyfriend. Wherever Tetradore was he seemed pretty calm. However, with Tobias she could actually feel his heart beat race, his velocity increase as he continued to run around the ark chasing the smaller cousin to the lupine. When she followed after the two from the opposite direction she noticed him leaping on top of a patrons' table. Although Tobias had zero manners it was good that he was in an environment where no one would challenge him. Being Second to the Alpha and the King of the Ring led to a reputation that forced everyone to respect him â€" even though he was extremely different. It didn't take long for everyone in the Ark to realize that she was attached to the spotted feline. It was much easier to walk in the crowd when she needed to go from one side to the next. Each time Tobias fought in the ring the patrons would allow her through and give her enough space to watch her companion win another challenge. Always she was supported of him never did she yell or holler like the rest. Instead she simply sat there exuding confidence assured that he would come out victorious as always. Each time he won she would quietly make her way to the opening while he paraded around showing off as the others cheered or jeered. Always she would be waiting for him outside, greeting him with her head brushing his cheek and underneath his chin in an affectionate way, allowing him to lead the way where ever he wanted to go. It never bothered her when she saw him go in the cage, but that didn't mean she wasn't concerned.

Tonight there were no plans for him to enter the ring. He had assured her this was going to be a night where they would be alone for the first time together in a while. She had no idea what he had in stored, but stealing Tetradores' rug from his office didn't really sound ideal when he had told her. Now they were chasing Jackal and she was sure something awful was going to happen. Well, she was right, she thought, as she weaved her way through the patrons and towards the keeper of the cage. She could not allow Jackal to find Tetradore or else she was so very sure she would be punished severely for breaking into his private domain. As she stands by the gates her grey banner twitches to the right as she notices the nod from Tobias and feels him heading her way with the silver-back jackal. It did not take long for Tobias to force the Jackal towards her and the cage and she was quite pleased that they were able to keep him from getting to the emerald-eyed man. Quietly she followed after Tobias as his tail gently stroked her cheek in an affectionate manner as her shoulder pressed into his side once again as he mimicked her earlier question. Blue-grey eyes shifted towards the smaller canine as she silently waited hoping the rug could be located quickly, but it would seem he too had no clue. It would seem the Jackal had other intentions and hearing him propose the idea that she and Tobias fight together in here caused her ears to fold back in a disapproving manner. Her should gently pressing into Tobias again as the crowed around them began to cheer. As Tobias voiced out a decision she had made so very long ago a very soft whimper could be heard that only Tobias could hear as the cheers around them got louder and louder with voices screaming they'd want to fight them. Eyes shifted back to the jackal as she shook her head.

"But you know why I cannot fight...it wouldn't be safe for them."

There was a very good reason why she didn't want to participate in the fights within the cage. Not only did she feel uneasy and restlessness being inside the cage, but she was concerned she would become feral. She had no idea what would happen if she went feral inside the ring, but she knew that if she went in that state she would become highly dangerous to everyone â€" even the one person she cared about deeply. Should Tobias be injured by her she couldn't forgive herself. Why Jackal would suggest such a risky thing, especially when he knew she could go feral, was something she couldn't even phantom. It was dangerous and wrong. Yet as the crowd began to shout for certain suggestions on who they should fight a soft growl erupted from the canine as the jackal goaded the cat. Eyes narrowed as black lips pulled back to reveal her sharp teeth to the male that placed her in a tough position. Raven understood the reputation Tobias had and she did not want to ruin it. While he managed to squeeze and slip himself through the walls of the cage her banner swished side to side in an agitated manner. Turning her head to her companion as the rowdy patrons changed 'fight, fight, fight' she would press her forehead gently into his, her eyes closed as she focused only on him. Her words gently brushing into his mind.

"Tobi...I know your reputation is important to you...I will fight."

Fear was something she could not show in the cage. Although she was deeply worried and frightened that awful stench was not on her. For a moment she would remain standing in that position as she focused on herself, pulling some strength and confidence from her companion wanting nothing more than to please him. It was true that no one here knew who she was or how she came to be his. Yet tonight she would have to show them just why she was a worthy companion for the King of the Ring. Her pink tounge would kiss the side of his cheek, blue-grey eyes looking into his golden ones for strength and comfort, her eyes showing determination. Her soft voice held a resolute tone as she heard the gates of the cage open to allow their challengers in.

"We will win...I can try and show them why I deserve to be yours and at your side."

A lowered snarl ripped from the oddly colored lupine as her entire form began to shift into a much larger size. Grey-trimmed ears folded flat against her skull as her jaws opened to reveal her sharper and deadlier weaponry. Lifting her head up proudly she would bang one of her paws into the wall of the cage causing some of the patrons to leap away from shock and fear. Muscles coiled underneath that thick ebony and grey pelt as her jaws snapped tightly, blue-grey eyes glaring at the patrons. She would stand defensively beside her chosen companion as she glared at the duo they were to fight. They all wanted them to fight and she was more than happy to give them a reason to see just why she was worthy to be at Tobias' side.
