Ragnar Lothbrok, a Viking king who ruled over Denmark and Sweden for a time. A powerful warrior who pillaged across the islands and establishing a name for himself as a young warrior. Ragnar was thought to be dead after being thrown into a pit of snakes by the Anglo-Saxon King Aella, but survived the encounter by burrowing out of the pit underground. Not having made it far, a hunter chanced upon him and turned him. After his supposed death, his sons led an invasion to take revenge on the Anglo-Saxon King and in the aftermath, confusion ensued and with so much death - Ragnar decided to move on and let his family grieve his 'death'. Over the centuries, he made his way to America and changed his name to Brok Ragner, building a life for himself within the city of Sacrosanct and creating a line of casinos called The Fjords in the northern part of the city. The Fjords are a front for Ragnar to do his dirty work of running a local mafia and laundering money. Within the shadier part of Sacrosanct, he's known as The Viking King but those who aren't in the darker aspects of city know him simply as a filthy rich man by the name of Brok. The last person aware of his true name was the hunter who turned him and since the passing of his friend, he hasn't told a soul his real name. He isn't part of the council but does work as unofficial member, mostly to keep tabs on what's going on in the city and in doing so, manages to protect his shadier work from the public eye.
