If this girl knew what kind of family Ezra was from she'd probably high-tail it away from him. Although they were... vast not much was a secret. Ever. He was still impressed that the fact that his sister carried a king's child hadn't slipped out much in his hometown. Now Meronia... there was no way to quite describe where he had spent most of his younger years, and when his parents had it their way, most of his later days as well. But the city! This was more Ezra's style, and he suspected it always would be that way.

Quirking an eyebrow slightly Ezra realized how brash he must have seemed, he was even a little embarrassed. Well, almost. She was quiet but it made him listen, in that sense where his whole body listened as well. "You're quite good, I'm surprised no one has asked before." His eyes flickering to the picture, "friend of yours?" He was curious who this man was, friend, boyfriend, hell it could even be her husband for all Ezra knew.

There was no doubt this girl was beautiful, and so he found it odd that she should be sitting here alone, but maybe she liked the peace and quiet. Maybe he was interrupting her quiet time. Ha! Who was he kidding, he definitely was. Her hand is light in his, and had he taken consideration of how his parents taught him to act, not to mention his brothers, than perhaps he would've been a gentleman and kissed her hand. But Ezra was made for a more modern world, hell he would've high fived her if he knew her better.

Making sure not to put too much pressure onto her slender hand he grinned, "Lovely name, Sylchrome. It's nice to meet you.". She was rather refreshing. Like the breeze on your face on a hot summer day. Perhaps he was a little more open and even at times abrasive. That was Ezra for you. By the looks of it they were total opposites, but nothing that he didn't intend on finding out. He had a few pals here and there, plus his brothers and sisters, and even his nephews and nieces. They were all good company but he needed something more and even more out of his world.

Listening he shifted back slightly, taking her body language into consideration. Although she was relaxing it didn't mean she wanted to be his friend or anything like that. Certainly didn't mean she was comfortable with him either. "Oh." Remembering why he was here, "Oh! Shoot. Right." A sheepish grin washing over his usually confident smile, "I'm looking for a Chinese place around here, heard they have a great kitchen." Leaning slightly, "If I recall correctly college students know all the best places, I figured I could find someone here that would know." A shot laugh at himself, running his fingers through short dark hair, "funny thing is no one is really around and then I got kind of lost."
