The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian was entirely unable to deny the fashion at which Dorian seemed to so enthrall all of him. The undead monstrosity within him that thirsted only for the life force of others was entirely enraptured by the fairy for the simple fact of how utterly pleasing his taste. His body was captivated by every single sensation brought on by the blatant proficiency of another who knew where to touch. And the man himself too smitten by the games they played and the words they exchanged. In the nearly two hundred years of his afterlife, not a soul had managed to fully arouse every ounce of Sebastian's interest - not in the way Dorian so managed to achieve with such minimal effort. His dwelling upon the man next to him, however, was interrupted only by the mention of the letter that Sebastian had held so dearly the very night he had received it and too the nights there after. The envelope had earned it's own place upon Sebastian's nightstand next to the card he still kept with the man's address. They were, in some way, a momento of the time the two shared together. They were something to look back upon with fondness and perhaps a touch of despondency when this inevitably came to an end. As much as it pained him to admit, it was perhaps the only possible end the future had to hold for them. And so, instead of dwelling on such dejecting thoughts, Sebastian focused on his efforts to explain the postal system in a fashion that Dorian might understand.
He fell silent briefly as Dorian contemplated the comparison Sebastian had so carefully crafted, waiting for that nod that indicated that perhaps he had grasped the concept in some fashion or another. Dorian's willingness, however, brought a simper to Sebastian's features. "I think you will find it well within your capabilities, your grace." The vampire responded, fully trusting Dorian's capabilities in this endeavor with utmost faith regardless of how foreign it surely must have seemed. Sebastian fell silent next to his companion as they crossed the street, hardly feeling the need to fill it with pointless chatter. Instead, Sebastian was entirely comfortable with just existing at Dorian's side - it was entirely a rarity for the vampire. After all, he hardly kept the company of any sort of acquaintances and his lovers were but one night stands whose names were nearly entirely forgotten the moment it had left their lips. Sebastian hardly questioned this distinct sensation of complacence he felt with his companion, instead allowing Dorian's comment to instead occupy his thoughts. The vampire's head shook ever so slightly from side to side, immediately disregarding the apology he was presented with, "Please, don't, I will enjoy it all the same." He stated, pausing for a moment before adding with a small twitch of an impish simper at the corner of his lips. "At least, to some extent." After all, Sebastian could not deny how entirely pleasurable their previous evenings had been.
Nevertheless, it was the sound of voices that caught Sebastian's attention the closer they neared their destination, his own senses far surpassing that of even his companion's. There were certainly more bodies up ahead then were typical during such an hour at night - the notion alone certainly intriguing to the vampire. He paused at the end of the street, his navy gaze fluttering from the stalls that lined the side of the street to the decorated lamp polls and the bodies that still crowded the cobblestone streets. His eyebrows rose ever so slightly in surprise, his gaze momentarily shifting towards his companion. How Dorian had learned of this event was certainly a mystery to him - though, to be fair, Sebastian rarely ventured into the wealthier parts of town, having little interest in the patrons there. This, however, entirely interested him. He stepped forward, side by side with the fairy King as his gaze shifted over the stalls and the food laid out on the decorated tabletops. His attention momentarily shifted from the stalls to the fay himself as his shoulder brushed briefly against Sebastian's own though the man hardly commented on it, merely ensuring he remained close to the fairy as they continued to venture down the path.
His head tilted towards his companion only at Dorian's voice, the vampire's lips pressing together in a line. He hadn't considered before just how unaware Dorian was of the delectables that his own country surely provided. "Hm.." Sebastian commented in return to the man's question, his gaze once again brushing over the food that surrounded him. "I do not think they would have England's best creation's here but..." Sebastian paused, his head lifting ever so slightly as his nose twitched, his nose almost instantly finding that rather distinct scent. The man nodded to himself clearly satisfied before stepping forward, "This way." He commented, reaching out towards Dorian to take the man's hand within his with little thought given to perhaps how inappropriate his actions then might have been. His entire purpose was to ensure Dorian remained close as he began to lead the way into the crowd, quite literally following his nose. The vampire paused quite a bit further down, his gaze falling steadfast upon the fried fish with a lingering sense of nostalgia. It was altogether rare for the vampire to actually eat and yet, Dorian's statement was enough to cause Sebastian to consider making tonight an exception.
Sebastian's fingertips dropped from their intertwined grasp, instead reaching for his wallet as he paused in front of the stall, "Two fish and chips." He ordered without even pausing to consider Dorian's own feelings towards the fried meal. It was, after all, decidedly British and that was exactly what Dorian had asked of him. He exchanged the cash for the two abruptly wrapped meals before Sebastian turned towards Dorian to present the man with the newspaper, a surprisingly pleased grin upon his features. "We are known for this. It is....not our best, don't judge us on it but, we English have our weaknesses." The vampire was at least willing to admit this though there was something perhaps ridiculously...familiar about it that made him almost want to share it with the man that was so rapidly becoming an enjoyed part of his life.
