East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Scarlett Trivale

So try to love me
And i'll try to save you

Scarlett had no intention of pushing for information. It was obvious that in each of her questions there was a gentleness, and understanding that if she chose not to answer the wolf would not take it personally. She wanted to earn her trust, and to show that she was someone that could be trusted, could perhaps eventually be considered a friend. Scarlett was a good person, and would always be a good person. She seemed to bubble up with excitement when Nadya spoke of her children and how she could possibly see them at the burlesque, it showed in a cute little toe tap dance she did while walking, her tail wagging behind her. "I hope to meet them one day, I love kids," she said in a cheery tone, her excitement childish but she didn't care. The wolf was really good with kids, at keeping them entertained because she was simply goofy and fun; if she could see a little kid smile her job was done, children should always be smiling in her opinion.

The creamy form of the wolf hesitated for just a moment when they reached the edge of the forest and were back at the city. She wasn't used to walking around the city in her animal form, she had been taught to keep herself hidden, that dark hunters would hurt her or even just normal people would hurt her or be scared of her. But Nadya walked out so calmly and so Scarlett took a deep breath and continued forward, following close beside the black feline; there was still so much she had to learn about the city and about the world. Her mind was quickly taken from her nervousness at walking so openly in public at remembering her race with Frost, a small smile on her lips as she remembered the pleasant memory. She wasn't aware of all the bad he had done, her encounters with him were all pleasant, from the race in the park that ended with a victory kiss for him, to her going to his house to help out his pack mate who had been bitten like she had. "I know its hopeless, but I still want to try and figure him out," she says with light laughter, knowing that her own desire to get to know him and befriend him was foolish but not something she would ever give up on. "Thank you, I was just curious," she hummed, letting Nadya know that the information shared, no matter how little, was useful and that she would remember.

Green eyes looked up to the building that Nadya brought her too, the neon lights and the name one it: the cat's meow. She snorted lightly at the witty name, following close behind the panther as she led her down an alleyway to a back door. She nodded her head and quietly followed Nadya inside, ears perking at the sound of music and voices. Her green eyes were scanning all over, taking in her new surroundings and the place she would be working. She almost bumped into the black jaguar when Nadya stopped and motioned at the main floor as the place she'd be working. Her emerald eyes scanned out over the mutliple tables and the bar, listening intently at what would be asked of her if she could handle the job. "I can do that," she said, her chest puffed out with determination and tail wagging behind her with enthusiasm. If there was one thing Scarlett was, it was a good worker and a quick learner. She was quick, friendly, and had a good memory. The wolf would work hard to prove herself worthy of this job, that she was capable of doing it. "You don't have to worry about me drinking on the job, i've never drank so I have no desire....though I might snack," she said with a light giggle at her admittance of probably having a snack while she worked. Food was always a good motivator for canines.

"Do you have only one waitress on staff at a time, or is the floor divided among a few?" she asked with a curious tilt of her head, wondering if she would work alone or if there would be others, others she could ask for help if she needed to in an emergency situation. She was certain though if she needed to she could find Nadya to ask for help. Movement caught her green eyes again and Scarlett watched with fascination as the dancers practiced. She did another little toe tap dance in excitement, because the other women were so good at dancing! It was almost funny to think that not long ago, she was so sad. But with so much going on, it was hard to remain sad; she was forgetting if only for the moment.
