The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Organized into nine verticle zones, each of which features a sky lobby and a light-filled garden atrium which merge the upscale interior with a faux landscaped exterior setting.
That sudden movement of her hand immediately caught the attention of those bright blue eyes, his gaze steadfast upon her as she moved that hand behind her back and out of view. It was quite a fruitless effort, the scent alone still lingering within the air. He could still hear the drip of blood and the increased beat of her heart just as he too was aware of that look of disgust upon her features. He hated that look, those eyes and the way that bore into him just for what he was. He couldn't help it, god knows he'd tried and yet, the consequences of ignoring his need for blood had been more disastrous than simply accepting that this was what he was now. How that look unsettled him, how it made him want to return to that fae King whom so embraced him, even despite the vampire that he was. Sebastian's gaze turned from her, his lips pressed together in a small frown as he instead admitted that there was another waiting for him, one whom he clearly cared enough for to desire to return to above all else - even with the fresh scent of blood so teasing and taunting him.
In those moments after, however, his head tilted ever so inquisitively to the side, instead inquiring after what had made the huntress before him into the reckless abrasive creature that she was. He had never quite met another soul like her - sure, there had been those that wanted to kill him for what he was but she was different even then that. She seemed as if she wanted him to attack her first, to gain vengeance, and yet there was still a certain sort of vulnerability about her that he was given but mere glimpses of on occasion. That shift within the woman was entirely noticeable as she bit her lip, suddenly stepping forward in a fashion that made his eyebrows furrow ever so slightly. For once she seemed as if she was willingly moving towards him without the need to kill him and for some reason, it made him weary. However, even that was hardly enough to prepare the man for the words that fell from her lips, and for a moment, Sebastian simply stared at her, quite visibly taken back. The sheer notion of holding Dorian captive was enough to leave a sour taste within the vampire's mouth, so twisting his features to a frown of distaste.
"Dear Lord is that what you think of us? That we're all some kidnapping group of heathens? Christ." His head shook ever so slightly, entirely hating the idea of his significant other in such a position. "No, he is free to come and go if leaves, or...leave entirely...if he wants." It pained him to say those words, to even think Dorian might want to leave him entirely for an eternity was a difficult notion for the vampire and yet, it was wholly the fae monarch's choice. Still, he hardly anticipated for the woman before him, to so admit that she had been there, the notion of even her trapped and chained in the car of a vampire was wholly appaling to the man, that surprise surely registering on his features before he was able to conceal it in the fashion he'd so been taught to do. Well, that certainly explained a good deal. Sebastian cleared his throat, his words soft and thoughtful as he begun to speak. "You know, Gia, just because I was murdered and turned, doesn't mean I've lost my morals. Not all of us are like...whatever you experienced. You take a good man and put him in a bad situation and he'll still be a good man. If, however, I should ever turn into anything like that, I fully expect you to promise me you'd hunt me to the very brink of extinction and for your blade to not falter when it came time." The notion of becoming something like that, something to chain and capture any soul was enough to prompt Sebastian to even so much as give her permission to murder him a second time, not that he thought she even needed it to begin with.
