The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

There was something altogether glorious of that rush of blood as it first hit his tongue each evening. How he relished it! Even if he so despised the spell it had over him. He needed it. Craved it. Thirsted for it with such a vengeance that, sometimes, even he wasn't fully aware that it was that singular thing he so often sought at even the slightest social interaction. It made the creation of any friendships altogether difficult for the vampire - when that simple thought of eating them forever remained within the back of his mind. What would this person taste like? How would they react to that venom and those sensations he was so capable of creating within them. So few were willing to regard him with any real sort of connection till the majority of his relationships had dwindled into a need for blood and a share of sex. It had been a rather lonely existence in it's own right but, slowly, that world of crimson and nameless bodies was changing for the man, even if he still found himself entirely surprised by that unexpected shift in life. Sebastian was well aware of the woman's hands digging into his shirt as his venom so filled her system and yet, he was content to enjoy that which she had so willingly offered him, stopping only once he took what he knew she was capable of going without before it affected her to any great degree.
He licked his lips of those remaining droplets before admitting that, perhaps, he had gotten the far better end of this bargain. The man had, after all, remained in the metropolis for the majority of their time apart, venturing away only once in a whirlwind of an event he hardly wished to go in any great detail of. Rather, he spoke of the scenery and the beauty of that country then his own business that had been conducted there. Rather, her inquiry on that very thing was met with a small flick of the man's wrist. "Ah, my past required I visit there briefly." He muttered simply, though truly one could argue Sebastian had some measure of a past amongst any given continent. It was, curiously enough, that desire of photos that saw his eyebrow raise before, slowly, the vampire nodded in return. "As you wish, darling." He offered in response. The vampire so rarely took any sort of photographic evidence of his travels, merely content to simply live in the moment of all he saw, to imprint those beautiful things upon his very memory and, when the desire struck, to revisit them quite literally. Still, if photos was what the girl desired, he was willing enough to give into such tourist antics for her. Somehow, she still held some sort of weak spot within the eternal vampire's heart. Though what made her stand out against all the others that had temporarily filled her bed was altogether a mystery. Perhaps it was simply that she was a sort of protege of his? In a manner of speaking, even if their nights were often spent between the bedsheets with that affinity of lust so afflicting their frames.
Sebastian followed the young woman towards the edge of that stage as he admitted that, in truth, it was a certain someone that saw him returning to this very place time and time again where as he once would have long left this city behind him. That surprise upon her features was altogether clear for the vampire, producing a simper upon his own lips as he nodded in confirmation. It was that simple utterance of 'her', that saw him pause ever so slightly. Truthfully, he had little shame of Dorian's gender, after all he had never before cared of those lovers he took to his bed and what they called themselves or what rested between their legs. Still, he was almost inquisitive of how Nadya might so handle the truth of the matter, the girl had always been rather...particular. "He." The vampire corrected, settling at her side. "He's a King." Sebastian continued with a soft chuckle of amusement within his voice. Truly, Dorian was the exactly thing his own childhood family would have both utterly desired of him for title and wealth alone and also so greatly feared for the gossip it might bring upon their family. "But, I am quite fond of him..." He finished softly, as if that alone was enough of an explanation of the feelings that had so beset him of late.
Still, Sebastian hardly dwelled upon his lover long, instead inquiring of what had so kept the woman at his side preoccupied. His eyebrows rose ever so slightly at the mention of 'twins', that simple thing even managing to outdo the fact that she was contemplating selling her rather busy Burlesque. "Twins?" He inquired, though in truth he knew exactly what children meant far before the woman even uttered that she had found someone too in his absence. "Why not?" He questioned, that mention of the girl's sibling saw his head tilt ever so curiously. In truth, he'd hardly even knew Nadya had a sibling within the first place, though really little of their time was spent discussing such specifics of their life. Instead, the man leaned back against his elbows as his now bright blue eyes swept over the facility in front of him. "It would be a shame to see this go though, I understand why you're considering selling it." Children, after all, were far more important than businesses. Or at least, they should be, even if such a fact was far from the truth of his youth.
