The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

With one hundred floors and a 125-foot spire, the Starlight Tower rises high above the Sacrosanct skyline. More than just a landmark, the Starlight Tower offers a unique mix of restaurants, shops, and offices spaced throughout the building. Organized into nine verticle zones, each of which features a sky lobby and a light-filled garden atrium which merge the upscale interior with a faux landscaped exterior setting.
She hadn't realized she was terrified of heights until she was up here, why did she decide to come to the roof? Back pedaling away from the edge, she eyes the man warily. She couldn't tell if he wanted to jump, if he was suicidal or not so she lets those musical lyrics break that short silence that graced the two of them and she wants to take a step back when he grins at her like that. It made her nervous, her fingers latching on tighter to her messenger bag. Was he being serious?
"I don't think it would be all that fun," she says a bit forcefully, her eyes narrowing at him her voice turning a bit hard. She wouldn't leave because she didn't know if the man would actually jump, she wasn't someone to stand by idly and leave a person he potentially needed help. So, when he beckons her to come sit with him she hesitates for a long minute, her eyes darting back to the propped door and returning to the man who still sits on the ledge, his eyes gazing at the night sky. When he offers her his hand, she eyes it warily before releasing her grip on her bag and stepping forward.
Perhaps he just needed someone to talk to.
Her dainty hand slips into his large one gripping him with terror as she slides stiff leg into place next to him. "I'll stay if you don't jump," she chokes out, her heart hammering as she clutches at his arm, as if he would stabilize her from falling. There's a gust of wind that snakes up the building, hammering into Mi that has her wobbling on the edge, her other hand wrapping around the man's arm, squeaking in fear. "Why are you doing this? This is terrifying!" She shouts as her heart pounds fiercely again.
Her eyes clamp close, the world spinning. Realizing it made it only made it worse, she opens her eyes, refusing to look down; that her legs weren't propped up by anything, that they simply dangled over the edge. Gulping down the cool air, she forgets how cold it is, that fear warming her body as her nails practically dig into his arm. She isn't ready to peel herself off him yet, as if she could stop the man if he decided to jump. Turning towards him, eyes wide, her hair snapping in the wind, "Please don't jump," she repeats, searching his face and demeanor for any signs of suicidal tendencies, "I really don't want to die tonight, my job needs me," she admits, attempting to take deep gulps of air to calm her racing heart.
This was not how she expected the rest of her night to go.
