The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Was it coincidence that he had been spending less time away from home now that there is this myth of his doppleganger? Hardly. Though Magnus was generally good with the public (anything to get what he wants), it does not mean that he is at all dependent on others for his own contentment. However, he has definitely succumb to the curiosity of who this other man could be.
After meeting Miyako, who planted the seed of paranoia in his mind, he has found himself wandering the streets some nights in search of this mirror-image. What if he was posing as him and threatening his credit? What if this was some sort of ploy and it was Magnus' turn to have a hit out on him? After all these years, he assumed it would have already happened.
What if he is just going mad and imagining things?
There was a reason he was abandoned at an orphanage, right?
Schizophrenic?
Does he want to even believe that's a possibility?
Of course not.
He would rather give himself the excuse to get out of the house and get things that he has needed for some time. And perhaps even meet "the one". He chuckles at the thought, stepping out of a little music shop with a new set of strings for both his guitars. He couldn't say he believed in love, let alone soul mates. In these last few days he could only question reality for there was something deep that was disturbed by the news of this man.
Shoving the parcels of metal strings and receipt in his back pocket, the behemoth begins down the sidewalk in search of a store that may have the next thing on his list - saddlebags and maybe some other accessories for his motorcycle. Following the scattered crowd, keen eyes wander the facade of buildings and flawless physique of women. Magnus was indulging in one voluptuous form - her apple bottom, in particular when a mere voice brings him to halt.
Peering upwards, his vision follows up the man's body pausing to study the tattoos on his skin. He then raises his own hands to look upon them - they were exactly the same. Magnus closes his eyes and shakes his head a time or two, attempting to shake away this illusion. Raising his chin he then opens his eyes and looks upon a man, that indeed, looked as though he were looking into a mirror. He heard his voice so he could not be hallucinating. And for a moment, he thought about walking past him and hoping that he would disappear when he looked over his shoulder.
His eyes flicker over his twin's and brows raise as Magnus, for the first time in his life, is at a loss for words. Seconds pass before he finally he says something aloud but clearly to himself. "I have to go see a psychiatrist." And just for some comic relief he ads, talking to the figment of his imagination. "Wouldn't you say?"
