The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Organized into nine verticle zones, each of which features a sky lobby and a light-filled garden atrium which merge the upscale interior with a faux landscaped exterior setting.
She was sheltered or scared of what she's been told is bad. She couldn't deny it with the quirk of her brow; though he did not react does not mean he did not note it. If the mention of drugs raises concern, he could only wonder what she would think of his career. She was absolutely precious; so petite with such a youthful complexion. Not to mention she was exotic. But would she really be his type? Innocence was adorable but he needed someone that could handle him.
Or he could simply corrupt her.
Would she let it happen?
With so much time on their hands, he will just have to find out.
She mentions something about wishing she could have a 9-5 job but Magnus says nothing in return. He considered asking her what it was that she does for a living but knew, of course, that would only spark her own curiosity - a curiosity that he did not want to answer to. Luckily she continues and he allows her to, simply watching her with a slight smile that only encouraged her to do so. Watching as he triggered her with a simple look, causing her nervousness to overwhelm her.
(That didn't take long at all.
Perhaps she would.
Magnus just had to wait for the right moment to take control.)
Then she asks him an odd question; at least to him. "No point in passing out over me, darling." He chuckles at her, his expression had a perfectly feigned tenderness as he boldly watched her as she stripped the sweater from her gently sloping form. It was far too hot in the elevator for layers and he could only assume that the temperature would only rise the longer they were stuck in here. "Who knows how long we will be in here." He flashes a look at the emergency button again but decides against pressing it again.
Someone will want to use the elevator eventually.
Peering back to Miya he finds her studying his tattoos and he knew there would be an inquiry in tow. "I felt pain, that's for sure." he chuckles, rolling his arms so that she may look upon all of the pieces. "I think the worst ones were on my ribs though." He lifts his shirt to reveal his sculpted abdomen and canvas skin. A large cat stares back on his stomach, surrounded by a snake and a soldier on his hip. But he points at the anchors, one on each side of his ribcage. "How come I have the impression that the craziest thing you've done is get your ears pierced?"
He grins devilishly.
