East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

"I have enough scars on my face, I don't really need another one."

Her voice was quite soft and firm, and yet she was trying to make a joke. Her attempt failed, but she tried. Raven was quite ashamed with the scars that crisscrossed her frame. Long ago she learned to accept the scars that mauled her face. Looking in the mirror or water source at her reflection pained her. As a Were she should be capable of healing quickly, like all the others. However, sadly that was not the case. She was incapable of healing properly. Where some wolves could heal within minutes she would heal in a matter of days. It wasn't easy. She had to keep her weakness hidden from others that would want to exploit and bring harm to herself and to her own pack. After the attack from Frost she was fortunate to keep herself hidden, to keep him and others from knowing.

Why her feral side did not attack Mira she did not know. Perhaps it was because they were too busy in a scuffle with a much more important threat. Raven didn't know much how her other half worked. All she could rely on were what others said or the aftermath she would witness when she 'woke up.' Her pack called her a monster and she believed them. They corrected her and punished her by physically harming her. Others would call her pack monsters, and they were, but she couldn't blame them for wanting to hurt her to keep her in line. She could hardly blame them, and yet she knew deep down there were other ways they could have treated her. Tetradore never harmed her, only once, when he needed to put her feral side in her rightful place, as his.

Needless to say it was only natural that she did not trust her own kind. After all she was accustomed to the wolves harming her. She had no idea who this wolf was and yet she hadn't given her any reason to think she was dangerous...yet. Mira had taken the blade out of her cheek and she hadn't harmed her when she wasn't herself, and yet Raven couldn't help, but not trust her entirely. Nervous and afraid she curled up, accidentally against the other wolf. After all it was only natural for her to want to do such a thing, when she was with her feline pack. It was when the other began to growl at her and poke her muzzle firmly that cause the oddly colored lupine to flinch. Slowly she got up and moved away from her, speaking softly.

"I am wolf yes, but I was not accepted by my kind. I was attacked, a lot."

Keeping her head down she embarrassingly brushed her paw against the pavement in a bashful manner, looking up at her sadly.

"It's a little ways, but if you need someone to clean your wound up, I can patch you up at the Ark."
