The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

It was Dorian's mention of working together in the future that brings a faint smile to Andras's lips. "Indeed, it will be a pleasure. It has been a few centuries since I have worked with a fellow Fae." He admits readily. Finding a friend in Dorian was easy and it was far easier to trust the man, something Andras was not accustomed too, though he knew he needed to begin again. He could not live with such anger that so adorned much of his past life. Offering a small nod in agreement with his words, he is truly grateful the man saw fit to agree to be one of his court.
Relieved when the conversation takes a turn, Dorian begins to speak about Matteo, a familiar name, though he couldn't quite place the face. Contemplating, he listens to Dorian admit that he wasn't sure Andras was ready to meet him. Offering a small chuckle, he raises his brows in delight at the challenge. "Perhaps I'm not, especially if he is older than even me," he agrees with a small shrug. As the fellow faerie asks if the weekend would work for him, Andras nods readily. He didn't have many plans beyond building his court and researching, "This weekend will be fine," he states, the wheels in his head already turning at the information he could possibly find in just a few days. Finally, Andras asks about the man only to be offered with a name that the Fae Lord has indeed heard before.
His hazel eyes spark in recognition, "Ah yes, I've heard of him though I've never had the pleasure of meeting him," Andras admits, his eyes contemplating as he allows his mind to wander back to all those centuries ago attempting to picture the old faerie. He doesn't succeed, so instead, pushes the distant memories from his mind, only to focus on the term 'father'. "I very much look forward to meeting your father," Andras offers a small wink, the briefness of surprise dancing in his eyes. Perhaps he shouldn't have been astonished, there was no resemblance within Dorian of the late king.
As their conversation shifts to more casual terms, he inquires about Dorian's soon to be husband and offers a smile and the King's clear excitement of marrying his fiancé. "Ah, congratulations again my friend. This is cause for a celebration! Perhaps I can prepare an evening meal, or perhaps a ball. I feel that the modern world needs to have a taste of how we used to have a party," he laughs in delight. "I fear that the terminology of today is going in an awful direction. It used to be so much elegant," he sighs remembering the days when words didn't sound harsh on the ears. Shrugging his shoulders slightly at the remembrance of long ago memories, he pushes it away as Dorian explains they finally announced the engagement officially. He had never been featured in any sort of newspaper nor magazines, he wouldn't even allow someone to take a photo of him.
His train of thought is snatched away as the Fae turns the question in him. Offering a wry smile, he shakes his head, "I have had lovers over the years though I haven't found someone I would like at my side. Most women don't find ruling appealing and the few that do, well, I expect a dagger in my back from them rather than any sort of affection. As it is, I haven't attempted to seek out anyone especially with this... bounty on my head," he says, his voice taking on a serious note. It was a topic that he hadn't spoken about since before the slaughter of his court. His father had pressured to take a faerie within the court (someone his father approved of) as a wife but he found none to his liking. They were all the scheming type and he didn't particularly care to sleep with one eye open. Pushing the thought away, he gives a bland smile, "Women are ruthless," he laughs humorlessly.
Letting the conversation come to a natural end he contemplates everything Dorian said about the press. "Ah, I know you have multiple homes as well as your own castle, but as you know, the press can be quite persistence in locating your estates. I have a lodge hidden away at the edge of town that only members of our court know about. If you and Sebastian ever need space, or would like to get away, you will have your own quarters at my lodge," he offers with a nod of my head. "I know it isn't much but I am working on... hiding the lodge from prying eyes. When I finish working out the spells on it I can contact you and your soon to be husband."
