East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Conifer's eyebrows climbed up of their own accord at the dichotomy of the woman in the Cheshire Cat dress. Her smile said, "mess with me, I dare you," but she had just invited the other woman and himself to coffee... He couldn't help but feel that she was up too something or that someone, somewhere was. He had become overly suspicious, he knew that, but working his night jobs the way that he did... It was bound to happen. He saw enough of intrigue to know what it looked like on the faces of others in the daytime world. But he found he couldn't really read this woman, in her spunky dress and converse. He shook his head in confusion. He he'd had enough trouble the last couple of weeks to last him a lifetime, but there was something compelling about the entire situation, something dynamic in the air. He ran his hands through his hair, snagging where he had tied it half up out of his face and glanced at the other woman in the tank top then glanced back at the volatile one.

"What in the world would you want our numbers for?" He shook his head before she could answer and pulled out his phone. "Trade you. My name is Conifer Hague and you can explain over coffee. As long as there isn't any bloodshed."
His lips twitched ever so slightly. It was the closest he'd gotten to smiling in a long time. He hadn't been sure he could still do that.
