Blue-grey eyes stared directly into his own. She could feel her shoulders rising upwards as if she was preparing herself to snap back at him. Yelling at him wouldn't help her out. Rather it would make the progress of their relationship quite pointless to even continue. The she-wolf wanted to make sure that their relationship would affect the one she had with her raven-haired witch. That woman was her closest friend and she didn't want to jeopardize it. Looking away from him she glared at the stack of alcohol bottles that sat perfectly on the shelves. Inhaling sharply, she slowly exhaled, feeling her shoulders lower, as she attempted to drop the subject. She would only look at him when she heard him mention he would do what he could. She didn't believe him, but she didn't show it. Instead she nodded quietly looking down at her drink. If she could talk to Frost's owner, maybe they could persuade the damn Were Horse to talk. That she wasn't allowed to know because it was classified was absolutely preposterous. There was more than one way to skin a cat and she would figure that piece of information without Azrael. One eyebrow rose as she replied back without any hesitation.
When you tell someone no, they aren't always going to obey. Already the lupine was mentally making plans on just how she was going to meet Frost again. The last time she saw him they were being tortured in whatever hell hole the Dark Hunter had them in. He owed her a favor anyways. When she wanted a day to herself or when the boys were out and about she would always go to the café and spend her day curled up with a really good book. Within the dark corner of the café she noticed that he would appear eating the sweets in the café. They never said a word together nor did they ever make direct eye contact. That café was neutral grounds and it would remain that way. Perhaps that is where she can meet him. In a public place. So, if he wanted to make a scene, he would have his audience. While the Dark Hunters conversed with each other the she-wolf was quietly trying to recall what days or times Frost usually showed up at the café, and trying to figure out just what she wanted to say to him. Because there was a lot. It was the mention of her friend Dorian that brought the lupine back to the conversation at hand. Happily she chirped up looking over at the two of them.
By no means did her voice hold a haughty air to it or even a tinge of bragging. Raven never told anyone else that she was friends with Dorian. However, within the presence of an Italian Dark Hunter she didn't think there was anything wrong admitting to this particular friendship. As for Azrael she didn't care whether or not he knew, or even if he wanted to add that to whatever record the Council has of any of them. That someone like her spent time with someone of royalty let alone was even friends with them may seem absolutely impossible, and yet it wasn't. In fact she had a drawing of his within a book tucked away neatly on her dresser within her bedroom. Surely that would be the perfect show of authentication, but she could also show proof just by flipping out her phone and revealing his private number. However, she would never do such a thing. They never conversed about the topic, but the two of them already knew she was one to be trusted. Raven would never want to betray that trust. Even though she replied civilly to his question about any involvement with the Council, she shot Azrael a look that screamed 'really, it was an innocent question?' Politely she rebutted his comment about just what species Councils work with.
Was she purposefully annoying Azrael? Yes. She had been behaving pretty well, but some old habits were hard to get rid of. She threw him a small innocent grin as she returned her focus to Ludo. She didn't want to relay to Ludo the details between herself and Azrael. It wasn't her place to tell about his relationship with her witch. That mention though of their relationship was answered with a slow nod, but it would stop when she heard that teasing compliment. Blue-grey eyes widen in shock a bit taken aback. She would be telling this to Sera next time they are together...she needed to b ware of it, because...well she needed to know! It was Ludo's question about them that made her tilt her head to the side a bit puzzled. She hardly knew the man and she didn't really want to divulge in everything going on in her life, and she doubted Tetradore would want two Dark Hunters sniffing about the Ark. With a shrug she replied innocently. If he wanted specifics then he should ask.
