The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.
Tetradore was altogether confident that, no matter the year that had passed since his return to life and Alexis' departure, the young woman would still find a fast friend in Raven. Whatever had remained unsaid between the two women was unlikely to alter Raven's feelings of her. Besides, at the time, the Ark had hardly been her home so much as it had been a place to simply escape from the cruelty of her previous Alpha. He had understood that - though he now understood much that he had not before. A small simper toyed at his features at Alexis' assurance that Raven would always be her best friend, the man almost confiding in her to keep that impending marriage a secret. After all, he was sure Raven would wish to tell her such news herself. That grin upon her features and accompanying insurance that she would keep her mouth shut on the topic prompted a warm chuckle from his lips. Frankly, he was glad Raven had her, that tiny action certain served to reassure the man that his judgment of her had been wholly correct, prompting that overdue invitation upon his lips.
He had intended to provide her with that place amongst them much sooner, though of late his focus had primarily been on keeping his current ranks safe and happy rather than extending them. Nw, however seemed quite the appropriate time to do just that. That surprise on her features was well noted and in response the were-King was quick to assure her that her presence amongst his ranks would be an honor after all she had stood by them through. Her acceptance of that very invitation brought a warm simper to his lips as the man slowly nodded in return. "I'm afraid that's another point I must ask forgiveness of....things were....messy back then. I'm sorry for my weariness." At the very least, he was willing to admit that he had, initially, been wrong about her and his fears that she was just another of Frost's minions. How things had so changed from then. "Raven would be delighted to see you back home. Should I have a room prepared for you?" He inquired, after all, he hardly knew where she had been staying up to this point and yet....it seemed fitting to offer her an actual bedroom of her own amongst those rooms kept for the members of his own pack. It was finally time, after all, to clear out Nadya's own things. She was certainly never coming back and, perhaps, in her stead, Alexis could finally find a place of her own.
