East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

It had been so long since she had filled in the role of waitress but it felt as natural as if she had never left it. Nadya had easily weaved her way across the room to the lone stranger. It was the same way Frost was, how she had always seen him before, digging into a spot away from others. Perhaps that was why she was drawn to find out about the stranger. Either way she leaned casually against the booth after setting his water down and offering her light words. The small friendly smile never left her features as she nodded, "You got it." Nadya took the offered menu from him and was about to turn to leave when he questioned her about being the owner. "Oh, no, I'm a friend of the owners. I was supposed to have a meeting with her but...she seems to be tending to something else." She shrugged effortlessly before adding, "I owned the burlesque a few blocks up from here. I sold it a while back and now have a children's dance studio instead. I'll get your order in at the kitchen." It was with that that Nadya disappeared back into the kitchen area.

However, a few moments later the young woman was heading back over to his table. This time she set a glass of amber liquid down in front of him. "Don't worry, it's Belgian, very crisp and won't distract from the flavors of your burger. On the house. Your food will be ready in a few minutes but," now it was her turn to pry, "I couldn't help but notice." Nadya smirked and winked with a light tap to the side of her nose indicating she knew exactly what he was. It was only with Frost's training that she had learned to tell an individual's species in her human form. Before it had stumped her how others were able to tell but had eventually gotten the hang of it. "My name's Nadya by the way." She held her hand out for the man should he wish to shake. "This place usually has a very heavy vampire customer base due to the owner so any species otherwise kinda stands out." Nadya's curious gaze remained steadfast on the man. "Are you new to Sacrosanct? I'm part of one of the packs here so call it...due diligence...to meet any new Weres coming in." Most Weres who ended up in Sacrosanct merged into the existing community just fine but some caused more waves than anything else. It would do well for her to figure out which category this stranger fell into.
