East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

Even though this newcomer had seemed to wiggle himself out of the way from others, he didn't have a very dangerous vibe about him. She was no more afraid of him than she had been of Frost and his stoic nature. The least she could do was help out the staff and introduce herself to the newcomer at the same time. It was natural for him to question someone not dressed in the work attire but he seemed to accept her answer good naturedly. "It is a change of scenery for sure but wrangling the children and wrangling the faes are about the same challenge. My kids enjoy it, going to work with me, and that's all that matters." Nadya chuckled lightly as she took his menu before heading back into the kitchen.

Nadya returned with an additional olive branch in the form of a beer. She finally introduced herself along with pointing out the fact that she knew that they were of the same species. She settled into the booth across from Roman after he shook her hand. Her gaze swept briefly along with his over the others in the establishment, explaining easily, "The owner is Supreme, small coven but it paints this place as a true sanctuary for vampire customers." Her attention diverted back to Roman. "I've been here a few years now but I remember what it was like when I first arrived. I didn't have anything at that point; I hadn't started out with much money so was nicking food just to survive." It was hard to imagine now, having come so far from that. She could have easily gone back home to her adoptive pack but she had wanted so bad to follow that pull which kept her searching for her brother.

Nadya's fingers flicked as if to dismiss the thoughts. "Most of the other Wers are like you, rogues or drifters who keep to themselves but there are 2 packs right now. My boyfriend is alpha of one, Chimera, and my brother is the alpha of the other, Nightshade." A simper of a smile crossed her features. "...yes, it's as complicated as it sounds. My brother and I didn't exactly part on the best of terms but as a loner you should be fine. The Ark is a fighting ring in the west district of the city, Nightshade runs that and has marked out a large chunk of that side of town as their territory. They patrol it and will take notice of any loitering and may question you but if you don't pose a threat then they won't pose one to you. My pack keeps to our neighborhood in the residences and we frequent the woods behind it but don't have any marked out territory per say." The woman glanced towards the kitchen. "I'm going to go check on your food." With that she slipped away to leave Roman to ponder her words while she fetched his food.

When she returned it was with his food which she dutifully placed in front of him. Nadya returned to her spot on the other booth with a glass of water for herself. "My brother, Tet, is aloof and broody but you shouldn't have a problem with him. It's his beta you may have more trouble with as he's not all there but if you keep your head down around him he'll leave you be. My boyfriend-..." Well she honestly didn't know how Frost handled other men considering the rest of her packmates were women as well. "If you meet a guy with hair almost as white as snow that's him, Frost. He's different with outsiders than he is with pack and can be hard to read so it just depends on how you come at him." She shrugged and took a sip of her water. She eyed her drink for a moment back on the table before asking softly, "...Did you have a pack before?"
