The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

As they settled on the dance floor, Amelia allowed the music to overtake her senses, to guide her in ways she didn't know her body could move. But just as she was about to lose herself, she heard his soft words, meant only for her. Eyes flickered up to his, love and desire present. She loved hearing him say that he loved her. It made her want him â€" not only in a sexual manner, but in one of companionship. She loved this man with all of her being and hearing that he felt the same way made her feel safe. No matter what dangers befell them, she knew he would protect her and Tenley with his life. "I love you more than anything, Troy. I cannot wait to spend the rest of my immortal existence with you." She leaned up to press her lips softly to his, letting the soft kiss linger there for longer than a moment. She allowed it to deepen, taking them higher.
Even as they began to dance, the kiss ending shortly after it began, Amelia kept her body close to his. She loved feeling him so close to her. She could feel his blood pulsating to areas much farther south. The way her hips pressed into his, she could feel the erection mounting. He wanted her just as much as she wanted him. But there was something about prolonging the wait that was erotic. At his words, she chuckled. "I am...but I must confess it effects me too." She drew his hand from her waist, guiding it up underneath her short dress to where his fingers could press to her lace panties. They were dripping for him. And just as quickly as she had guided his hand to her, she removed it and placed it back on her hip. Yes, she wanted him more than anything in this world...and yet...she made them both wait.
She let her kisses press to his neck, lusting after the pulsing blood that filled his veins. He moved his neck aside for her, giving her free access. And yet, she resisted. This was not the place to drawn the blood to the surface. She did not want everyone to know she was vampire and she also did not want other vampires lusting after him. So reluctantly, she pulled away.
Slowly, she turned around, the back of her hips pressing against his, feeling his desire growing with each passing moment. She rocked her hips against his, feeling his hands on her waist. Reaching up, she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling his body closer to hers. The music continued to vibrate between them and the feeling was erotic.
But then, the music faded into silence. When her eyes flickered open, the music had gone silent and the room had gone black. They stood amongst a crowd in the pitch black. Instead of being angry and frustrated like the rest of the patrons, she couldn't help but laugh. She turned to face Troy and rested her head on his chest. "Someone thought we were enjoying our night a little too much." She sighed softly as she just stood there in his arms. She was oddly content.
