East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

East
She hated being outside after dark, feared the way the shadows stole her stealth and her strength. As the sun sank closer and closer to the skyline, the petite fae felt a twinge of fear. She was completely alone in a strange place. The stones here exhaled magic, it was the first time since she'd left home that she'd found a place so alive. It had excited her and kept her out later than it should have. But no matter, she'd been out after dark plenty of times since leaving home. She just didn't particularly enjoy it.

Of course, she had no idea that Dark Hunters roamed the streets here; the only thing that brought her to this place was the enticing pull of magic. In her excitement, she'd simply lost track of the time.

Her steps slower now, less carefree than they had been earlier, she spotted a small cafe and pushed open the door. The comforting scent of hot coffee enveloped her, and she inhaled deeply as her lovely face relaxed into a smile. She'd grab a latte, sit here and enjoy it, then head on over to her new place. Too easy. She weaves through a scattering of tables to get to the counter. She hands the smiling barista her money in exchange for the latte, then turns and scans the room with her large violet eyes.

Her gaze fell on a hooded figure and her interest was immediately piqued. There's nothing a fairy loves more than a mystery--except maybe some mischief. With a little luck, she could get both. She capers jauntily over to the hooded guy and sits daintily at the chair across the table from him.

A wide grin graces her face, crinkling the corners of her wickedly-gleaming amethyst eyes. She tucks a loose strand of wavy auburn hair behind her pointed ear and sets her coffee on the table, making herself at home. After a few moments of silence, she reaches a small hand across the table top, and speaks.
"I'm Marrea. Mind if I join you?" Her voice is bright and carefree, lyrical from her accent, and she seems friendly enough. Why else would she sit down with a stranger, unless she knows she has nothing to fear?
