Life had gone back to its leisurely pace for the young Were after her unexpected night adventure with Tetradore and Matteo. Arya spent a majority of her days at the aquarium, working like usual and the remaining free time relaxing. Many people would consider this lifestyle boring, all work and no play, and truthfully she herself could see it as being a little boring from time to time, but this was what she loved doing. It was relatively low stress compared to most other professions, and she found there to never be a dull day when working with animals. They were always so happy to see her each morning, and that wasn't even anthropomorphism either, she could truly sense their happiness; though it was debatable if it was because they liked her or just knew she brought food and toys for them each day. Either way, their happiness made her happy, and she wouldn't change anything even after Matteo's cryptic words that seemed to foreshadow more excitement entering her life.
Arya found herself with another rare day away from the aquarium. More than anything she wanted to be down at the beach, relaxing in the sand and swimming in the cool ocean waves, but after a quick look into her fridge showed a barren wasteland where food should be she realized she should probably spend the day running errands instead. Her seal definitely disliked this realization, but it also realized it couldn't be helped because it didn't want to go hungry either; not going to the beach was definitely the lesser of two evils for the animal when compared to missing a meal. Perhaps she could make a late visit or simply splash around in the bathtub for awhile. With a small sigh, she slipped out of her comfy PJs she had been relaxing in into some comfy outdoor clothes: shorts and a basic blue t shirt. With that she grabs her keys and slips out of her tiny apartment into the streets of sacrosanct.
The weather was warm out but not nearly as hot as it had been, a breeze cooling the air and making it pleasant. Arya didn't feel like driving in the early afternoon traffic, so she grabbed her bike and decided to bike across town to where all the best stores were since it was such a nice day. The breeze felt amazing flowing through her brunette hair. Amber eyes scanned her surroundings as she slipped through the bustling city with ease. It didn't take her long to get to the shopping district, full of some of the best bakeries, cafes, markets, and bars. Just as she hopped off her bike to lock it and head into a local market, amber eyes could have sworn she saw a lone child wander into a bar. Arya blinked for a moment, staring stunned as the bar doors closed behind the blonde haired child. Curiosity took over and she walked up to the bar, peaking slightly through the window with a perplexed expression. She watched the child go up to the counter and sit alone at a stool, a backpack on her back. Why was a girl so young alone in the city? The young Were's amber eyes widened in shock as she watched the bartender hand the child a glass of wine, and suddenly she couldn't just sit outside and watch anymore.
Bars were not her cup of tea, she definitely looked mildly out of place; though not nearly as out of place than as the young girl sitting at the bar. Arya wandered up, eyes drifting around the room to the few inhabitants that found day drinking to be something they either needed or desired to partake in, which of those two she didn't have any desire herself to find out.
The Seal wondered where the child's parents were, who would just leave her to wander alone? And yet the backpack on her back told perhaps a different tale. A run away? If that was the case Arya had to be careful not to scare the child; though the young woman would hardly be considered threatening, exuding a friendly warmth that everyone tended to enjoy being around. She took a sip of her newly acquired sweet drink before smiling at the young girl.
