The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Henry had wanted to come to the wedding with Sterling, but his boyfriend had to work. For a moment, he had thought about inviting Malia, the only other person he could truly call friend. And yet, he wasn't sure that was a good idea either. With her being a member of the other pack, he wasn't sure if it would start up any sort of drama. Not to mention, he knew Raven's thoughts on Malia and if he had her as his plus one, it was sure to upset the bride. Henry was done with the drama, he just wanted to have a relaxing afternoon. And so, he decided he would just go to the wedding by himself.
The ceremony had been beautiful, and it was cute to see how Tobi and Raven looked. They looked so in love and happy, something that he wanted for himself and Sterling. Already he had picked out a sort of engagement ring for Sterling, but the timing hadn't been right yet. And so, it stayed nestled in his sock drawer on the Ark. But as he sat here and watched the exchanging of vows and the looks of happiness and love on the faces of Raven and Tobi, he couldn't help the desire to have that with Sterling one day.
After the ceremony, Henry sent Sterling a text to let him know that he would be home in a few hours. He was going to at least stay for cake and to say hello to the happy couple before he left. Once the text was sent, he slipped the phone back into his dress pant pocket and moved to the open bar to grab himself a drink.
As the couple entered, he smiled up at them and clapped along with everyone else. He wanted to come by and say hello, but he wasn't sure if they would be participating in their first dance now or later. And so, he sipped on his whiskey as he watched all those gathered.
