The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

With one hundred floors and a 125-foot spire, the Starlight Tower rises high above the Sacrosanct skyline. More than just a landmark, the Starlight Tower offers a unique mix of restaurants, shops, and offices spaced throughout the building. Organized into nine verticle zones, each of which features a sky lobby and a light-filled garden atrium which merge the upscale interior with a faux landscaped exterior setting.
With a small smile, she nodded her head, thanking him for holding the door as they walked into the warm bakery with delicious smelling aromas of freshly baked goods. It wasn't a wonder to see why this place was full of customers. This Were-reptile apparently had the talent to create some appealing baked goods. Since Tetradore was a frequent visitor that meant he would be an excellent source of information to know what she should and shouldn't get in this establishment. Hearing him claim his favorite foods were mostly chocolate she couldn't help, but give him a warm simper as she chuckled. Of course her Were-King would take a liking to a chocolate tasting treat. Standing as high as she could on the tip of her toes she playfully ruffled his hair in a teasing gesture. His love of chocolate would one day come back to haunt him, when his firm and flat stomach would turn round. He and her mate would share that fate when they got a bit older, if they weren't too careful. Paying for their drinks and snacks she led him over towards a table, placing her cup of tea down. How to start this conversation, she did not know. Maybe business would be a good start. She was pleased to hear that Tetradore liked her idea about the opportunity to open business with water fights. His mention that he was worried about Dark Hunters was answered with a small snort of her own as she shook her head in disagreement.
Azrael would surely assist her in keeping other Dark Hunters or the Council at bay. From the way he spoke it sounded like he was on the Council's goodside. Plus he had told her once that he actually told the Council he approved their business and rule over the West, as they kept the crime rate low and the other Weres in line. Of course he told her he would never repeat those words again in front of anyone else if she asked him. Besides after that terrible experience at that horrendous warehouse, he owed her a favor. That and the one time they had to tag-team to rescue Sera from those other supernatural creatures. Yep, she was certain that Azrael would be on her side to help her out. Tearing parts of the paper off her gingerbread cupcake, she took a small bite on the side, chewing it thoughtfully, watching as he pulled his warm chocolate chip cookie out of the package.
The snow-leopard was working out pretty well at the Ark. She caught on quickly to how things worked. Their patrons seemed to like her. Best part was that nothing was stolen. The she-wolf was quite pleased with herself for taking that chance to have Carolina under their roof. Not to mention she was sort of proving her Alpha wrong. Not that she would rub it in his face that would be wrong. Setting her cupcake down on a napkin she picked up her cup of tea, her thumb circling part of the rim for a moment. Hopefully this would work. Her shoulders began to tense up as she kept her breathing steady, grabbing ahold any courage she had, knowing she was stumbling into uncharted territory. Keeping her head down, blue-grey eyes shyly looked up at him, she softly muttered her question.
