There were so many faces that came and went in Nadya's life that she didn't expect to see the ones that left ever again. When that familiar face of the blonde caught in her peripheral it almost felt like she had seen a ghost. Surely it wasn't who she thought. Indeed it was though as the woman called back eagerly to her question. "Oh, thanks." Nadya managed a slight smile at the compliment despite how very conscious she was of the burgeoning bump. "You too, I mean...you look...happy." If Nadya could remember one thing it was how weighed down Carolina had appeared before. She seemed much lighter now...freer in a way.
Nadya was surprised by the invitation, glancing between the offered seat and the pathway home before accepting. There was plenty of time before the next class to catch up. Nadya settled in the chair and set her ladden box down onto the table. "Not sure if you saw but I sold the burlesque a while ago. I run a children's dance studio now just around the corner. The twins love it...Izzy mostly, of course." Nadya couldn't help but smile warmly at the thought of her daughter in all her ballerina glory tiptoeing around the studio doing her best to be on her 'point' toes. "It's certainly different but I love it- much more low key." She shrugged slightly before continuing, "So, what brings you back to Sacrosanct? You left without a trace I was worried." Carolina hadn't been the only one to do that but the last one had been whom she had thought was her best friend which had hurt the most. "I had the hardest time keeping a bartender. It was the cursed position apparently. Every business has one." She couldn't even remember how many bartenders she had gone through during the time the burlesque had been open.
