East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Tetradore was hardly perturbed by that facade he was presented with, that look was one he knew exceptionally well if only for the sheer number of times in which the Were_king had employed such a tactic himself in some vain effort to keep those emotions from displaying. It was this very knowledge of what surely afflicted her beneath that attempt to appear indifferent that prompted the Were-King to hardly dwell upon his connections or exactly how he had achieved what little information he had rather than what said information had detailed in the first place. The very utterance of that underground reptilian show near-instantly rewarded the Alpha with all of the woman's attention, her forehead creasing in a clear indication of those thoughts that surely filled her mind. Tetradore hardly pressured her either way, the man purposefully informing Taliah that he had little guarantee the snake whispered of in that show was indeed her sister. Hope, he knew, could be a distinctly dangerous thing. For a moment, that silence persisted between them as Taliah contemplated her desire, or lack thereof, to investigate, even with the possibility that this too might lead to nothing at all.

Abruptly, her head bobbed ever so slightly in a small indication of her decision. The Were-King hardly moved, however, the emerald of his irises settled upon her as she moved to stand. Fluidly, Taliah approached him, his head tilting downwards ever so slightly to better eye the shorter woman. Her insistence that their investigation could hardly hurt, at the very least, prompted a small nod from the Alpha in turn. He turned ever so slightly as she stepped away from him, his gaze lingering upon her as she approached the counter of her closed Bakery. "Yeah, sure," Tetradore commented, his hands burring in his pockets as he waited. The emerald of his irises swept over the front of the store, the man altogether attentive of those sounds within the back though he made no effort to join her as she closed down the ovens and bagged her products. Tetradore could hardly deny that he had thought of those very bags of bread, much less the cookies he so often purchased from her though he hadn't expected to earn a loaf already, particularly when he had yet to deliver upon her safe harbor to and from that underground reptilian show.

Nevertheless, he took the offered bag, glancing within it to spy the loaf of bread. A small glimpse of satisfaction crossed his lips as the man led the way outside of the bakery and into the chilly wind. He waited as she locked the door to the bakery behind them, only for her attention to turn astutely towards him. Tetradore easily stepped off the sidewalk, the man unlocking his own vehicle with a clear indication that she should get into the passenger side. He paused only at the sound of Taliah's voice, the sincerity within her lyrics hardly lost on him. "It's no problem." The Alpha responded, opening his door to slide into the plush comfort of his vehicle - after all, he hardly wanted to walk all the way to the West. His key had only just hit the ignition when Taliah's quiet musing prompted his gaze to turn. The Were-King's shoulder lifted in a vague shrug as the sportscar roared to life beneath him. He effortlessly pulled away from the curb, the vehicle quickly accelerating under his capable hands. "I have no idea, unfortunately. They don't really give me those kinds of details and I figured you'd want to be there before I went to check it out." Tetradore responded simply, the man falling to silence in the aftermath.

He was content to answer any further questions that might have afflicted Taliah's mind, though his knowledge of the place they were moments from breaking into was altogether limited. Fortunately, with those roads mostly empty, the Bugatti made quick work of that trip, and soon enough Tetradore was guiding that car back onto the familiar streets that led towards the docks. He led the car into the darkened interior of one of his empty warehouses, the door purposefully left open for them. It was only once they reached the center of the smaller warehouse that Tetradore turned off the car. "The place the reptiles are being held are a couple of warehouse that way." He commented, waving vaguely to the northeast of them. "They'll recognize my car though so...I figured we'd go on foot...or more specifically, shift. I'll be less noticed that way, anyways." The weight of his emerald eyes turned towards her, the man at least ensuring she hardly held any objection to his plan before he got out of the car.

My heart is just to dark too care. I can't destroy what isn't there

so if you love me let me go

Deliver me into my fate & leave me with my sins
If you still care, don't ever let me know
