While their men probably saw a lot more terrifying and horrifying things, the duration of labor in a body that wasn't theirs wasn't one of them. Everyone had a peculiar weakness. The idea of having Tetradore and Tobias sit in one of these classes was highly amusing, especially if they had to do it alone without Mira and herself present. It would be fun to see the two of them participate in the pre-birthing exercises. Raven was sure that Tetradore would follow the instructor and try to encourage Tobias to do the same, and somehow in his way, Tobias would do something to throw the instructor off course or get them kicked out. Not wanting to cause any problems, Raven brought Mira to these classes, and whatever they learned, she would go home and teach her husband. This way, Tobias could learn at his own pace in a friendlier environment. If she could teach him to read and write, even a little bit, then at the very least, she could get through to him. As Mira began to guess what sort of Were-creature the man was, she shook her head slightly in disagreement. As a wolf, the two of them had a great sense of smell, but as a pregnant wolf, well, her sense of smell was a bit too powerful. Mira was correct that the man was prey, but her guesses were not right. With one finger, she tapped her nose and gave the woman a wink.
Lamb! Now that sounded delicious! Perhaps for dinner later this week, she could prepare some lamb chops or a nice rack of lamb. The two of them could enjoy that dinner and chew on the bones leftover afterward. With Mira asking what she would want to eat right now for lunch, she paused in thought for a moment as she pondered on the very idea. Hearing her stomach growl and feeling her son kick around, she rattled off the different foods that sounded great together, even if a little bit conflicting. Waddling through the mall's corridor beside her friend, Raven couldn't help but roll her eyes playfully as Mira claimed she was wounded that Raven kept this secret from her. Well, she ought to know now if they were going to shop for clothes! Feeling her son start to treat her kidney like a soccer ball, she quickly grabbed Mira's hand and took her to the side to stay out of the way from the other shoppers. Placing Mira's hand on her stomach, she happily exclaimed the gender, keeping a hold on Mira's hand so she could feel her cub kick around. Raven watched Mira closely, waiting for her reaction when she could feel her son kick. After Mira proclaimed her happiness for her little bundle of joy, she gave the woman a soft simper.
Was this her way of figuring out if Mira and Tetradore were getting closer? Nope! Just an innocent question from one woman to another. Seeing Mira frown, Raven tapped Mira's hand to encourage her to keep it on her stomach, even if it was a bit awkward. Feeling her son start to kick again, Raven snickered as she saw Mira's eyes light up in surprise. Tobias had a similar when he discovered that even if he couldn't see his son, he could feel it. It was endearing sometimes when her husband would poke her stomach in reply to her son's kick. When he did this while she slept, well, she was a tad bit cranky when he did that, but happy to see this interaction. With Mira proclaiming it was time to head back to the mission at hand, getting food, she nodded and laughed when Mira patted her stomach. As they made their way across the mall and made it to the restaurant that had most of the food she listed, she happily sat at one of the more comfortable and roomier booths. Thankful to rest her swollen feet, she leaned into the seat happily, patiently waiting for their order to arrive as her stomach started to growl again. As Mira leaned in and began to ask questions, Raven bit her lip for a moment. Was she excited about having a child? Absolutely. Was she terrified? Of course! Had Tetradore mentioned her worries to Mira? With a forlorn sigh, she nodded slowly and muttered softly.
When the waitress came by with their food and drinks, Raven quickly grabbed a few chips and placed them on her plate, and munched on a few nervously.
