The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Organized into nine verticle zones, each of which features a sky lobby and a light-filled garden atrium which merge the upscale interior with a faux landscaped exterior setting.
Her nerves only got worse as the minutes ticked by. She knew she was early for her appointment but she felt like at any moment, Harley was going to storm through the door and tell her to get out. She knew the other Were wasn't a bad person by any means and she had been through a lot. If anything, Alexis hoped she did get a better sense of the other woman (that is, if Harley even chose to speak to her). She didn't mind the task set by her Alpha; she just wasn't quite sure she was up for it. Usually, she wouldn't approach a brazen woman such as Harley. With the "fuck off" vibe she was usually giving off, Alexis would have steered clear for a while, hoping she'd warm up. But she needed to show more backbone and she didn't always want to take a backseat when it came to her pack. They were more family to her than she'd ever had, after all. That now meant Harley was family, too. So Alexis told herself to suck it up and see this through. What choice did she have? She needed to be able to face her Were family again after this.
Her nose twitched, knowing the moment Harley was in the building thanks to her sensitive nose. And she wasn't alone. The WereFox detected a dog with her, too. Interesting. She didn't know Harley had a pet. Her lips twitched a little, somehow finding it comforting to know Harley wasn't completely alone. When the woman came around the corner with a bunch of bottles in her arms, Alexis parted her lips in surprise, brows lifting in curiosity. Harley looked pretty satisfied with herself, that is, until she saw who her client was. A scowl tugged at Alexis' features as she could feel the other Were instantly shut down at the sight of her. The suspicion in her pretty violet eyes was obvious as she gave a short greeting and leaned against her table to look Alexis over. Glancing over, the woman could see even the dog was looking at her as if he wanted to know her motive. Finally, she turned her green gaze back to Harley and tried for a soft smile.
"I do want a tattoo, truly. I just....I also wanted to reach out. We don't know a whole lot of anything about each other. I want to change that...if you allow it." The Were swallowed awkwardly when she was done, her gaze searching the other woman's as she waited for the response like the sharp gavel of a judge's final word. Glancing back down to the tattoo book she'd been thumbing through, she tried for a hopeful smile and held it up. "I was trying to decide between these two, actually. I like the details of the tree better on the first one, but I can't decide if I want color or just black for the outlines." She looked back to Harley as her fingers traced softly over the outline of the oak tree. It was meant to look like a family tree, with the branches entwined and the leaves looking bright and hopeful. A single strand of silk wrapped around the trunk of the tree loosely, trailing off to the side as if there was more to it. The second tree had a darker tone to it, with the edges almost looking charred and some of the leaves wilted just a bit, as if a drought had stolen the life from it.
