East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Leila's hands settled upon her hips, her eyes narrowed as she stared at the stable wound in front of her. While she supposed it was enough of a hindrance for the average human to seek medical care, it was hardly adequate for what she needed. "Five minutes ago is not now." Leila insisted with scoff. Still, this was something that was perfectly within her realm to solve. She all but ignored the man's insistence that he probably wasn't going to bleed again any time soon, her time with him apparently wasted. Fortunately, when life gave her lemons, Leila was a pro at making lemonade! Her plan, however, was briefly derailed by the mention of an accident, her curiosity getting the better of her as she inquired after the events that resulted in him being here. He shrugged nonchalantly before insisting in his efforts to save a deer, of all things. Frankly Leila wasn't sure a deer was worth all of that but, she supposed on a motorcycle, running into one wasn't exactly a great option either. "Huh." She commented softly, only for her head to shake at the unexpected tangent. No no, now was not the time to worry herself about deers or motorcycles. She was, after all, on a mission.

With a flick of her wrist, a hiltless blade appeared between her fingertips as Leila declared her intention to make her own wound - one that would result in a hopefully rather big necessity for blood. Lots...and lots of blood. His insistence that she most definitely was not a nurse was one she shrugged away with the argument that she certainly looked like one. He gestured towards the blade in her hand, it apparently the only bit of her ensemble that didn't quite fit. A soft sound of consideration left her lips as she turned the blade towards her. She waved away the blade before summoning another, far smaller knife that thinned to a needle-like point. "This is the best I can do." Leila offered with a shrug, needles hardly fell within her repertoire, even if it would have been particularly handy in this case. In fact, it almost would have been too clean.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the man's offer of his wrist, as if she was a vampire who could merely drain him of what she needed and move on. Ah, sometimes, it was more beneficial to send her husband on blood duty. A soft sigh left her lips before she shook her head, using the excuse of her daughter's vampiric state to turn his words back upon him. How her very admittance seemed to confuse him! His efforts to understand her situation were so very very far from the truth. Still, perhaps it was better to play on his emotions. Her lips turned downward in a frown as her head bobbed at his second query. "Yes, it was truly awful. She was just so full of life and then...not." Okay, that wasn't exactly what had happened. It had been Morgan's choice after all, and her father had turned her willingly in the comfort of their home...but he didn't need to know that. Actually, Morgan had been pouting around the house since they'd moved, perhaps she just needed a friend. He seemed nice enough. And he was human...they could turn him easily enough with Quinn's approval. Yes! A boyfriend was exactly what Morgan needed. She just...wouldn't tell him exactly how old her daughter was...yet.

Well, in that case, maybe she'd put off being all stabby stabby with him for a bit longer, however, that hardly helped with her issue at hand. She settled beside him on the bed, her gaze turned intently towards him even with her blade still swaying between her fingertips. A soft sigh echoed upon her lips as she commented upon the options before her, willing to let him fill in the gaps of a fate she had already decided for him. His suggestion, however, brought a grin to her features, her blade vanished as she clapped her hands together with glee. "Well, that would be delightful!" She insisted, only to leap to her feet. "We'll have to steal one of the nurses keycards to get into the blood storage room. I'll pull one over here and you can get her attention while I lift the card. Then we'll have to go to the blood storage room and...well, you'll have to pull all the nurses' attention while I slip in. Sounds easy peasy, right?"
