The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Had she heard tell of the shaded avenue her life would eventually have transpired along, and the calloused and influencing hands that would come to guide her as some night-blind child through the miasma of this new and confounding darkness... Isolt would have hardly believed. She did hardly believe where circumstance had deemed fitting to deposit her. The clearly-delineated plan the young woman had once possessed for the progression of her life had always been single-mindedly simplistic, it had always been ironclad, and no portion of it had ever existed parallel to the reality within which she currently stood.
And yet, the smallest smile casts its radiance unto her features as she lingers just beyond the heavy oaken door which would lead her unto the sloping curve of the bar. Isolt had never dreamed that she might one day come to claim ownership over something as pleasantly obscure as a pub, her doctoral aspirations having always consumed the most prominent helping of her fancy leaving but the smallest void within which other passing whims were to evanesce. And though not even the presumed finality of death frigid embrace could rob the flame-haired woman of dreams bolstered by years of determination, it had succeeded in changing many things. It had cast asunder the hope that she might one day come to realize her fondest ambition, had woven anew the tapestry of what was to come.
Thankfully, and to Damon's well-deserved merit, she had succeeded in realizing another she had only recently discovered that she yearned for.
Though the grandest portion of Isolt's contribution had been made to the impeccably-constructed menu and the execution of dishes her grandmother had concocted within the snug cubby of her Irish kitchen, tonight would see the girl with the crimson hair perch yet another proverbial hat upon her head. Bartending was admittedly no foreign terrain for the demure young woman, and yet it seemed something far better suited to someone not as terribly soft-spoken as she. Nonetheless she ventures through the swinging double doors, loose crimson curls swaying pleasantly against her back before her progression is stayed abruptly by the request that filters through the myriad chatter of the room at large. Blue eyes travel a smooth and unwavering line to the man hunched against the wooden slab of the bar, glancing briefly and appreciatively to the alluring hazel of his own before a smile curls sweetly at the plush cushions of her lips. "Sure," she coos chastely, retrieving the beverage and depositing it swiftly before him with the gentlest thud. Perfectly-manicured eye brows knit together, delicate head cast askew in curiosity for a lingering moment before she dares pose the inquiry that comes to mind and mouth. "Are you certain you don't want anything else? We make the best Sheppard's Pie... and the whiskey's top-notch..."
