East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Mornings were always chilly this close to dawn, when the sunlight hit the morning mists and dissipated it with sheer force. She also found that it was her favorite time of the day, everything was a lot more quiet and still at this time. The woman pauses as Dom speaks and she finally rises from the bench just as the young man approaches. She could see him from across the street, the assured way he strides across to their sides. Dom had long since stopped fighting the fight or flight instinct she'd inherited, she'd grown up wandering the streets of Brooklyn with her friends and nephew, only three years her junior and the concrete jungle would always be her home. Conquer her fears and her instincts, ones she hadn't wanted in the first place.

Dom tries not to judge the woman in front of her, but it is difficult, the fact that the man had 'deserved' it wasn't in question. Any low-life who cheated on wife and children deserved a form of payment but what the woman had done was take more than she bargained, thus taking money or items from his children. She studies the two of them, her morals set aside for now, she smells like spice the scent she'd come to anticipate from the predator were's. But he, he smelled similar to Marcelo and herself which placed in the similar species. "I always get an extra," Dom says, sliding the bag with an extra pastry towards the girl, clearly noticing how her nose had turned up just slightly to scent the air. She could be nice when she wanted to be.

"Sounds a bit like experience talkin', honey," Those words bring a grin to her lips before she leaned back a bit to survey the young man. "I don't know, seems like he could go a few rounds before tiring," Her words would be considered crass if she were around her family. Her mother was traditional Italian, a very much no-nonsense woman who ruled her household with an ironfist that could rival her father's.

He asks about where they are going and she could only shrug in response before his words about the Hunter reach her ears. She laughs then, it is clear and cool as she points back at the coffee shop, "I sit in one of these, he's the one that always look like he's eaten something sour?" She's had a few run in's with the local Hunter's, always far away from her sanctuary in the forests and never at night, she didn't stray far from camp at night.

"I'm Dom," She says to the girl and in turn tossing it to the man too, shifting slightly to face her a bit more, why not start making friends. This seemed like the perfect place as any, she definitely wouldnt find it hole up in her Were form. In fact, they'd probably call the local zoo to see if any of their animals were missing. She wondered if that happened a lot around here.
