The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

GO AHEAD AND PLAY DEAD Everything seemed to be falling into place, but I was a man that paid close attention to my endeavors, and checked my way down the list of priorities over and over again in case anything was missed. But today I decided it was time to take a break from overseeing the preparations for Devil's Den's grand opening, and took to the streets of the more metropolitan part of Sacrosanct. Here there were no graffiti on the buildings or bars on the doors. Everything was gleaming and lustrious and new. Dark leather boots scuff the pavement with a confident stride, one hand in the pocket of my jeans while the other thumbs a cigarette from my lips. My eyes linger along the shop windows, looking at all the latest technology the phone stores have to offer, the sharp clothing on the mannequins and the fancy foods smelling up the streets from the crosswalk cafes. I took pause outside one store, keen hearing tuning in to the voice of a young woman attempting to explain the workings of an ipad to an older couple. The Devil's Den was going to need Employees soon. Ones that knew their way around a firearm or had some knowledge in weapons. Raven will make a great face for the front of the shop, but I needed to find someone more suave on the finer details of my products. Soon, the Devil's Den would also play host to the pack I have high hopes to form and perhaps among them I might fin someone to take on the role of Weapons tech. A vaguely familiar scent drifts to my nose, the wolf inside pinpointing the odor as that of a were-cat. Eyes refocus and in the reflection of the shop window, I spy a lean man near the corner of the shop building. I jog my memory to see if I recognize him. the face is not familiar and yet... I know I've run across him before. Then it hits me. I smelled his cologne before, on the night of the Full Moon in the forest. He had been in his animal skin at that time, a Cat and an exotic one, though not quite so large as Tobias and his lot. I turn and look at him, tossing down my cigarette and tamping it out as I waved to him casually and strode forward within talking distance. "I knew I recognized you from somewhere." I spoke with an easy, sharp grin. Throaty voice was rich and gravelly, akin to a finely aged scotch. I extended my hand to the man. "I'm Lucian, you'd probably remember me better with the brindle fur and sharp teeth." I chuckled darkly at my own humor. "You're new to the city, right?"
